Soooo my debut EP ‘In A While, Crocodile’ comes out on 13th August!!!! Anddddd the next single from it ‘See You Later (maybe never)’ comes out NEXT WEEEK on 16th July and you can presave it in my bio now!! Getting to hear my songs exactly how I hear them in my head out loud is so so cool. I’m sooo excited to be independently putting out my first body of work weeee I hope you love it. My first mini body of music is out in the world!!! This is sooo so cool to me and I want to thank everyone who has believed in the vision and so generously invested their time into making it what it is.

These 5 songs were written during quite a tumultuous period of 18 year old me’s life and I’m super proud of what it’s become. They’re all so real for me and quite weird to be releasing almost 2 years after they were all written - like it’s a mini time capsule and this is me finally putting a lid on it. And now it’s immortalised foreverrrr👹🧘‍♀️

Thank you to the wicked @alexmcarthurmusic for co-writing and producing ‘See You Tomorrow’. I think all the guitar layers are awesomeee and I love how it builds and the intensity of the bridge. I think it captures the feeling of immediate sparks and excitement of meeting someone who seems to really get you😎

Thank you to @fergiem_ for believing in me and basically working on every track with me to make this all coherent and also for listening to me explain/rant about every situation these songs are about lollll😛

Thank you to legends @iainberryman and @callinsickplz for making ‘Off Script’ as cool as it is and @roryredfern for all your beautiful work on ‘See You Later (maybe never)’💿

Thank you to @seannealephoto and @filmbyfogliatti for shooting all the cover art and visuals with me and making it such a fun and silly process. (For this cover art we drove to Black Country metalworks in the middle of nowhere to go scout out the crocodiles and just take pictures in public in this metal safari park/ garden centre) 🕺

I’ve been feeling very emotional about the release of ‘Amongst Stars/ anymore’ because unfortunately everything I write about is true. 3 years ago on 13th November, my ex-boyfriend told me he had fallen out of love with me, and I began a very long and painful and significant and transformative heartbreak. ‘anymore’ was written immediately after in one big stream of consciousness. That song captures how I felt in a moment that changed so much for me. A few months later, I wrote ‘Amongst Stars’ and posted a video of it on tiktok. It got sent round a bunch of group chats and I had a really tough time with it at school. Although posting this song at the time made my life a lot more difficult, a producer called Fergus also saw it, and sent me a DM saying he loved the song and wanted to do a studio session with me.

This song was the first ever song we recorded and we kept all the original vocals from the first demo we did, so it’s super raw and emotional and I hope that translates. I wanted to treat the death of the relationship like a person that goes up to live amongst stars. Like something to be honoured, despite all the hard feelings that come with it. It’s probably my favourite.

I can’t believe that 3 years down the line, it is out in the world for anyone to listen to. I feel super proud of myself. It’s been rough at times and so much hasn’t gone to plan. But I feel so lucky to see emotion as a strength. Caring is cool and caring pays off. When I look back to myself 3 years ago, if I could show her where I’m at now she would be over the moon.

MASSIVE THANK YOU to @seannealephoto and @filmbyfogliatti my dream team for visuals. They always get my vision 100% and they trekked all the way to Cambridge this time to come take photos in my college bar with me with borrowed costumes from my uni theatre. Love you guys❤️

One year of ‘Whirlwind Romance’!! One year of releasing music!! And it has very much been a whirlwind year. I still love this song, verse 2 is one of the most fun things I’ve written (for all the fight club references!!) Hope you’re all driving at appropriate speeds and stopping at red lights🙂‍↕️🚦Thank you for the support over the past year. I’ve been making so much music and I can’t wait to keep sharing it. Last Saturday I put on my first headline show in London because I wanted to do something extra special and fun to celebrate my EP release. Thank you so so much to everyone who came down, I had the most fun night and people sang so loud whatttt!!!
