Just a mama sharing our real life. 🤍

My son has Level 3 autism, is nonverbal, and needs support with many daily living skills. I’m documenting our journey as we raise money for his stem cell treatment while sharing the therapies, gut-health meals, recipes, and wellness routines we’re exploring as a family.

If you’re an autism parent or simply want to support our journey, I’d love to have you here. Every follow, share, and kind comment helps us get one step closer to our goal. 🙏💙

IHSS was an emotional time for my family. Being denied was so heartbreaking, especially when I had no way of working because I was my son’s full-time caregiver.
If you’re in this season too, you’re not alone. Feel free to ask questions below, or let me know if you want a more in-depth video walking through what we went through.

🎃 A little Halloween fun with a bigger purpose. 💛

As an autism mom, I know finding alternatives to candy can look different for every family, so this year, I’m making 30 pumpkin plasters for my kids’ classes! 🩹🧡

If you’re new here, hi! I’m the mom behind Pretty Plasters, a small business I started to raise $50,000 for my son’s stem cell treatment, which could be life-changing for him.

Every order helps us get closer to that goal, and every share helps more people find us. If you love fun, colorful plasters, I’d be so grateful if you checked out my shop and supported our journey. 🥹💛

Now tell me… 🎃 Would your kids be excited to get pumpkin plasters instead of candy? by @jesusfueledma

If you can relate to this, take this as a sign to still go out💕🙏🏻

Some days I feel like I’m in pure survival mode.

My son has Level 3 autism, and lately the safety concerns and behaviors have become overwhelming — severe pica, peeing on furniture and trying to drink it, getting out of his car seat while I’m driving, and waking up at 1–2 AM even while taking clonidine. We were also denied a medical car seat, and now we’re waiting for an assessment to hopefully get that decision changed.

I’m sharing this because I know I can’t be the only autism parent going through things that people don’t always see. 🧩🤍

If you’ve dealt with any of this, please share what has helped your family. I could really use the advice and support.

When your child’s behavior changes suddenly and drastically, sometimes there may be more going on beneath the surface. 🧩🤍

After sharing what we’ve been going through with my son, so many of you mentioned PANS/PANDAS. I had never really looked into it before, but after reading more about the symptoms, I definitely want to bring it up with his doctors.

He’s already in ABA and OT, but lately we’ve seen major changes with his sleep, pica, sensory-seeking behaviors, toileting, and overall regulation.

I’m not saying this is definitely what he has — I’m just a mom trying to understand what’s happening and find ways to help my baby. 🥺

Thank you SO much to everyone who has shared advice, resources, and your own experiences with me. I’m reading everything. 🤍

If your autistic child has been evaluated for PANS/PANDAS, I would love to hear what signs made you look into it.

Some days I celebrate every little victory… and other days I quietly grieve the things that seem so easy for other kids. 💙

I’m so proud of my child and the progress they make, but that doesn’t mean the hard moments don’t hurt. Both feelings can exist at the same time.

To every autism parent who has felt this… I see you. 🤍
