We finish the week with this Northwest B752 (N535US) seconds from touchdown at KLAS (LAS) sometime in 2006. She was delivered new to NWA on 14 November 1995. She would have winglets added in October 2006. She flew through the merger and became a DL girl in October of 2008 where she flew until her retirement at KBYH in November of 2024. Three Hole Thursday this week sees this Condor DC-10-30 (D-ADPO) taxiing at EDDF (FRA) sometime in summer of 1982. She was delivered new to Condor on 21 November 1979 and flew for them until being sold to Omni as (N540AX) in December of 1998. She finished her career with Omni and flew until her retirement at KVCV in November 2006. She spent the rest of her life parked up in Victorville. She died in late 2012. Happy Hump Day, everyone. Here we see a Singapore B743 (N125KL) lined up for departure from RJAA (NRT) in January of 1990. She was delivered new to Singapore on 11 December 1985 and would be leased to Ansett between January and February 1996. She would be re-registered to (9V-SKL) in January of 1997. We finish the week with this UPS Super Eight-73CF (N851UP) on final into KMIA (MIA) in December of 1999. She was originally delivered new to Seaboard World as (N8636) on 28 March 1969. The rest of her hx is as follows: Korean (L) del12/72 ret04/76, ONA (L) del04/76 ret10/76, Saudi-Arabien (L) del03/77 ret12/79, Evergreen International (N8636EV) del12/79 rr04/80 (N811EV) cvtd Super-73 02/85, UPS (N811EV) del03/85 rr06/85 (N851UP). She finished her career with UPS and flew until her retirement at KROW in February of 2009. She would be sold off to Aersale in January 2011 and her registration cancelled in March. Three Hole Thursday this week sees this Cathay Pacific TriStar (VR-HHW) lined up for departure from RJFF (FUK) in May of 1988. She was originally delivered new to Court Line Aviation as (G-BAAB) on 30 April 1973 and flew with them for about a year before being returned to Lockheed and parked up at KPMD in August of 1974. She remained parked up for about three years until she was sold to Cathay Pacific as above registration in October of 1977. She would be sold to Caribbean Wind Airlines as (V2-LEM) in March of 1996 but spent most of her time parked up in Marana. She finished her career with Air Transat as (C-FTSI) in May of 1998 and flew until her retirement about a year later in June of 1999. She subsequently was sold off to AAS and her registration cancelled. She died in December of 2000. Pic from the Takahiro Nakayama collection.

We start the week with this JAS MadDog-81 (JA8460) taxiing at RJTT (HND) in October of 1988. She was originally delivered new to Toa Domestic Airlines as the same registration on 17 April 1981 and flew for them until being sold to JAS /JAL in April of 1988. She would be sold to Midwest Express as (N805ME) in September 1999 and fly for them until being sold to Allegiant in February of 2009 however, Allegiant didn't want her and she made her final flight to Mojave by the end of the month. She would be sold off to Sunrise Asset Management in February of 2009 and remained parked up in Mojave until her death in July of 2011. Pic from the Takahiro Nakayama collection.

Three Hole Thursday this week sees this Mexicana B722 (XA-MEC) taxiing at KORD (ORD) in July of 1989. She spent her entire career with Mexicana being delivered new on 13 November 1979. She flew until her retirement at MMMX in July of 2002 and was parked up in the Cementerio de Aviones. She remains parked up amongst her sisters missing many parts to date. She was originally delivered to Air Canada as (CF-TOA) on 11 February 1971 and would be re-registered to (C-FTOA) in 1982. The rest of her hx is as follows: Global International (L) del06/83 ret10/83, National Airlines (N749R) del07/84, Malaysia Airlines (L) del09/84 retto-GPA 10/84, People Express (L) (EI-BPH) del02/85 ret05/85, MEA (L) del06/85 ret09/85, Flying Tiger Line (L) del09/85 rr (N890FT) own FSBU 05/88, FedEx (L) N890FT del08/89 wfu sKJFK 06/93 fwd sKAVQ 03/94. She finished her career parked up in the desert owned by FSBU in January of 1995. She subsequently was sold off to AAR/ESL in July of 1995 and her registration cancelled. We finish the week with this Continental B752 (N12125) on final into KMIA (MIA) in December of 1999. She was delivered new to CO on 2 February 1998 and flew for them until CO was merged into United in October of 2010. While with Continental, she would have winglets added in April of 2006. Three Hole Thursday this week sees this American DC-10-10 (N112AA) on final into KORD (ORD) sometime in winter 1984. She spent her entire career with AA being delivered new on 30 March 1972. She flew until her retirement at KTUL in August of 1993 and be ferried to Amarillo where she was sold to FedEx to be cvtd pax-fgt. However, this fell through and she was ntu and subsequently ferried to Phoenix in August of 1997 and was parked up. She would make her final flight to Goodyear a couple years later in March of 1999, be sold off to AMS in May 2002, and her registration cancelled. She died in August of 2002. Happy Hump Day, everyone. Here we see an Aer Lingus B741 (EI-BED) "St. Ciaran" taxiing at GCLP (LPA) sometime in 1987. She was originally delivered new to Lufthansa as (D-ABYC) on 23 May 1970 and flew for them until being sold to Aer Lingus in January of 1979. The rest of her hx is as follows: Air Algerie (L) del10/79 ret04/80, Air Jamaica (L) del11/86 ret04/87, Qantas (L) del11/87 ret02/88, LAN Chile (L) del12/88 ret03/89 del12/89 ret03/90. She finished her career back with EI and flew until her retirement in October of 1994. She made her final flight to Marana in February of 1995. She died in August of 1996. While with JAL she would go on a leasing stint with JTOA between June of 1993 and October of 1994. The rest of her hx is as follows: Dynamic Airways (N767DA) del01/11 frd KVCV-KDAL 01/11 frd KDAL-KINT 08/11, Miami Air International (L) del12/11 ret06/12, Eastern (2018) (N767DA) del04/18 rr07/18 (N603KW) wfu12/20 sKMIA fwd sKMCI 08/23, Alta Airline Holdings (N603KW) del02/24.
