A couple of blue-hour long exposures from Italy, captured from the comfort of a hotel balcony with a telephoto lens. Couldn’t quite bring myself to crop these to portrait, even though it almost feels like a sin not to on Instagram. 😅

Like many landscape photographers, I’m not too fond of shooting in harsh midday light. But when you come across a vast sea of golden larches in the Dolomites, who could resist grabbing a couple of shots? 🤩

Spotted this crazy colorful tree when strolling around Garmisch-Partenkirchen last fall. Shot during harsh midday sun but I popped on a CPL filter and think these shots turned out pretty nicely. 🍁

From my first visit at Reynisfjara beach, Iceland - not at all the shot I was expecting to get here, but probably amongst my favourites from the entire trip - even if I didn’t manage to nail focus throughout the scene due to low light and high winds.

Got invited to a small and cozy field trip last year with @sarahinthegreen and @_klitmark where I got to experience an owl in the wild for the very first time. The distance to this little fellow and a lack of foliage made it a little difficult to nail a minimal shot (this time around). Still, I managed to squeeze a bit of softness into this one – and I think it deserves a spot in the grid.🤩

Admittedly, there were a few moments during a certain ice-covered mountain pass where my buddy and I were questioning our decision NOT to bring crampons. But I’d say these shots of golden larches against the towering peaks of the Dolomites were almost worth dying for. 😅
