Ran my first marathon today! Grateful for everyone who supported me in-person and on the phone!

P.S I don’t know who Mrs Macquarie is and why she has a chair but I hate it

GOD IS GOOD! When I was 7 years old I was walking back with my family from a pastors conference and my parents turned to me and asked me what I had learnt that night.

And seven-year-old me replied, “I’m gonna be a pastor one day!”

I had no idea what that meant at the time but as I’ve grown up, I have felt the desire and passion to see people come to know Jesus and to be part of a vibrant church community, grow.

Where I am today is because of pastors and leaders in my life who have championed me, prayed for me, and believed in me.

Today as Katie & I get set apart for pastoral ministry, it continues to be a privilege and honour to journey with people through the mountains & the valleys, to pray and to champion them and most importantly, to see people experience the love of Jesus.

We couldn’t be more grateful for our church @sanctuary.gc Our pastors @isaaclenton & @sophieerinlenton and our movement @incorgau by @jethrostaggs
