Forged in Blue is a very special event, where we learned the value and journey of the USAFA class rings, and began to understand the significance of each member who gave their ring for the next generation.

The ‘28 Class Cabinet, General Assembly, and graduates from the Great ‘78 class gathered with members from the @airforcegrads in Doolittle hall for the esteemed ring melting ceremony.

The event is a powerful tradition where donated class rings from past graduates are melted down to create gold ingots. These ingots are then used in the creation of the class rings for the current rising junior (2-degree) class, physically connecting generations of the “Long Blue Line”.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to the Association for keeping this tradition alive, and @jostensinc for the rings! Cheers to our incoming class rings🥂💍

Congratulations to the Class of 2028 on our Commitment dinner - it’s getting real!

Huge thanks to @denlienichole @nicalotito & @ging3.r for making this event what it was. Leadership is easy when you have trust, and you all made life easy.

Thanks to @usafa_cadetchorale for showing up and showing out for the national anthem, and @usafacadethonorguard for your excellence, always.

To all exchange cadets, I hope you enjoyed our USAFA tradition! If you have something similar, let us know. However, welcome to commitment at a higher altitude 😉.

For all international 28ers, drop your flag below! You make every event better, and I hope you enjoyed.

If you have photos from the night, post them in the comments below!

Jetpack Joe: Leadership That Takes Off

We live in the age of a new Air Force Academy, a revitalized military, and a vision for the uncharted future of conflict.

During this reconstruction era, a bold leader is needed with the vigilance and drive to achieve greatness. Together, this greatness is ours; together, this greatness is secure.

Vote me for Class President, and I promise to leverage our diverse voices, ideas, and concerns while doing so with the level of professionalism and excellence needed to achieve success.

To the class of 2028, let us be bold, and be great. Bonded by change, molded by flames, may we go down in fame.

Took a small bite out of the big apple 🍎🗽

There were so many vegan restaurants here, it was truly hard to choose from! The museums were top tier, and nightlife here is electric. Seeing the @metmuseum in person was a dream come true ✅.

Cheers to all the great people I got to meet, what a great city! I can’t wait to come back one day for NYFW! Who else loves NYC
