"My main board is designed to achieve the right sound quickly with minimal effort. The Lamb and Lion have become integral to that setup. The Lamb gives me everything from transparent overdrive to edge-of-breakup warmth to a woolier overdrive voice. What makes the Lamb and Lion special as a pair is that the tones are excellent before you ever touch MIDI. The onboard presets, live knob setting, and solo boost already give me a practical gain ecosystem that I can recall quickly on a song-by-song basis." ~Blake

Overdrive or distortion? Guitar players have argued about it since the '60s.

A few years ago I settled it the engineer way. I put the Lion and Lamb on an oscilloscope.

Overdrive rounds off the peaks. The wave still looks like your guitar, just softer, so it sounds natural and opens up when you dig in.

Distortion chops the peaks flat, almost into a square. You get more compression, more sustain, more weight.

The difference comes down to the tiny clipping diodes inside. That's what the three modes on each pedal switch between.

My favorite is the Lamb's Yellow mode. One diode clips only the bottom of the wave, so the top stays open like an overdrive and the bottom squashes like a distortion.

The Powerhouse Set (Lion + Lamb) is $399.99 through tomorrow, Oct 1. Link in bio.

One of our customers said, "Until recently I was happy using the Line 6 HX Effects to MIDI control my amp via 4CM, but missed using pedals…The pedals sounded much better, and I realized I could create my own personalized sound going back to a pedalboard."

That's exactly why we created the Unity6. You can keep your pedals but still have scene-style control.

Unity6 is the brain of the board. Free Trio included — $549.99.

Atmosphere and Powerhouse are back if you’re working on your wet/gain side.
