Feelin’ alive & livin’ like the wind 🥰

Made it to my 5th World Wonder of the World which is now one of my favorites, the Taj Mahal 🤍

The Taj Mahal was built in 1631 by emperor, Shah Jahan to honor his favorite wife & soulmate, Mumtaz Mahal who passed away giving birth to their 13th child. This white marble mausoleum is a work of art- a blend of Indian, Persian, and Islamic styles. This icon monument is symbol of love and India’s rich history.

No trip to India is complete without visiting this architectonic beauty. Tons of tourists flood this site daily but it wont take away the overwhelming feeling of admiration you will have.

I’ve been to all 7 wonders of the world. People love calling them overrated. I don’t think that’s fair.

What people are actually annoyed by is the walk to get there. The heat. The lines. The guy trying to sell you a donkey ride. That’s not the wonder’s fault, that’s just tourism.

The Provence sunflower field no one tells you about and you don’t see on postcards 🌻

No entry fee, no crowds, no lines for photos,
just an endless field off a quiet backroad. The little stops between the itinerary are always worth the detour, no question.

South of France hidden gem 📍 Gorges du Verdon, a short drive from Marseille

Often called Europe’s Grand Canyon, one of the deepest canyons on the continent, with turquoise water that looks filtered (it’s not, it’s just the limestone sediment)

🚣 Rent a paddle boat or kayak
🍷 Bring wine + snacks
☀️ Float and chill for hours

Ended up being one of my favorite day trips from Marseille.

If you’re dreaming of the South of France, start here 🇫🇷

Everyone flocks to Nice or St. Tropez. Base yourself in Marseille instead it makes the perfect home base for exploring Provence.

Steal this itinerary for your next trip:

🛥️ Boat through the Calanques for limestone cliffs and unreal turquoise water.

🌾 Wander the lavender and sunflower fields at Plateau de Valensole. Peak bloom is typically from mid-June to mid-July.

🍽️ Enjoy a private 3-course Provençal dinner at a local estate in the middle of a lavender field.

🚤 Paddle through the turquoise waters of Gorges du Verdon, one of Europe’s deepest canyons.

🏘️ End the day in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a postcard-worthy cliffside village famous for its hand-painted pottery.

Marseille is the South of France everyone skips and I don’t get why. Here’s what changed my mind.

Grabbed dinner at Matza before wandering. This city eats good and looks even better doing it.

Then we left the city for this. Gorges du Verdon, an hour and a half out.

Water is that color in real life, no filter needed.

Last stop: Moustiers Sainte Marie, a village built into a cliff.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re in a postcard, this is the place.

Mango 🥭 gelato in the south of France heat. Does it get better than this?

This door. And the beef bourguignon, best thing I ate the whole trip, no notes.

Still can’t believe this was a day trip and not the whole vacation.

Moustiers doesn’t even make most “South of France” lists and it should.

Day tripping to Reims, Champagne (yes that’s a real place) 🥂 Did you know you could hit 3 champagne houses in one day and still make it back to Paris for dinner?
