Our new single No Reply is streaming everywhere now, and we already have people to thank!

Thank you to @thezone913 for doing the radio premiere today, coming up at 930am, 130pm, and 330pm PST.

Thank you to @spotify and @spotifycanada for already adding No Reply to Indie All Stars and Rock Now. For a band that started selling CDs from the back of our tour van, getting streaming support years later is something we don’t take for granted!

Thank you to Colin Stewart at @thehivecreativelabs for recording and mixing No Reply. Thank you to @catpictures at @cpsmastering for mastering. Thank you to @jameskingsley for doing the artwork.

Lastly, thank you to everyone listening. Getting your notes from around the world saying that our music is still part of your lives is a big reason why we got back to recording again. Plus we’re trying to prove to our kids that we used to be rock stars. ❤️

Join us October 9+10 at the @commodoreballroom in Vancouver, as we celebrate our first return to the stage in over a decade by opening for Canadian legends @5440official ❤️

Getting your messages during our archive campaign has been a big part of our decision to play live again.

We don’t know if or when we’ll be able to tour again outside western Canada, so if you’ve been patiently waiting from afar to see us live, consider booking a weekend holiday to beautiful Vancouver. No pressure! But every 54*40 show is memorable, Vancouver is a great destination city, and we’ll do our best to deliver a career-spanning opening slot.

We’re very excited to announce a second new retrospective album from our band archives: “Directions - Rarities and Demos, Vol. 2” will feature 11 tracks, including 6 never before heard songs from 2010-2012.

The album will arrive to streaming on October 9, the same day we step back on stage for the first time in over a decade at the @commodoreballroom in Vancouver. Gulp! by @jetsoverhead

We were very saddened by the news of Glen Hansard’s passing in July. We had the honor of being invited by Glen to open for his wonderful band The Frames in Dublin and Vancouver, and it was a tour that stays with us to this day.

Although this video from the archives seems to expose us for nabbing some Guinness from The Frames’ dressing room at Vicar Street, hopefully it’s still a rite of passage for any opening band in Dublin.

Glen, thank you for the melodies you brought into the world, and for bringing us to the beautiful country of Ireland. x taken in Dublin, Ireland by @jetsoverhead
