Aufbau meiner Arbeiten zum Wettbewerb „KulturLandschaften WASSER“ im Photomuseum Braunschweig.

Ich freue mich ganz sehr dabei zu sein - zusammen mit anderen großartigen Künstler:innen!

Eröffnung im Schafstall 🌳

Heute haben wir gemeinsam die Ausstellung „Doch, die Bäume werden kürzer, werden länger“ von Jette Held in der Galerie im Schafstall eröffnet – die zweite Vernissage in einer Woche für mich. Wernigerode ist eine Kunst-Stadt!

Die Künstlerin, die im Harz lebt und arbeitet, zeigt in ihren Fotogrammen eindrucksvolle Spuren von Wasser, Licht und Landschaft – aktuell gefördert mit einem Stipendium der Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt, mit Fokus auf die Warme Bode in Tanne.

Für den perfekten musikalischen Rahmen sorgte Samuel Dähn, Nachwuchspianist der Kreismusikschule Harz 🎹 – und auch unsere Gäste wurden Teil des Abends: gemeinsam entstand ein Kunstwerk, an dem alle mitgewirkt haben. ✨

UNDINE (2026) – Jette Held @jetteheld

Die Serie UNDINE umfasst Schwarzweißfotogramme, die im Mondlicht direkt im Wasser der Bode bei Tanne im Harz entstanden sind. Realisiert als Handabzüge, bleiben Gebrauchsspuren wie Knicke, Risse und Kratzer bewusst sichtbar. Sie verweisen auf den körperlichen und prozessualen Charakter der Entstehung.

Mythos und Wahrnehmung
Ausgangspunkt der Arbeit ist das Thema „Hinter dem Spiegel“ – verstanden als Auseinandersetzung mit Wahrnehmung, Projektion und narrativer Konstruktion. Jette Held verbindet diese Ebenen mit einer lokalen Sage: Am Ort der Aufnahmen soll einst ein Wassergeist eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft in den Fluss gezogen haben.

Körper, Licht und Material
Die Arbeit greift diese Überlieferung auf und überführt den Mythos in eine bildliche Untersuchung. Die Figur des weiblichen Wassergeistes dient dabei nicht als bloße Illustration, sondern als direkte Einschreibung eines Körpers im Zusammenspiel mit Wasser, Licht und analogem Fotomaterial.

Die Fotogramme bewegen sich an der Schnittstelle zwischen physischer Präsenz und erzählter Vorstellung. Sie hinterfragen das vielschichtige Verhältnis von Landschaft, Erinnerung und Bild.
