I overthink everything else but my art.
My first single Ghost Train out now.
POSTS STORIES REELS
In case you’re new here and we don’t know each other – hello, welcome. I’m Jeulia, an indie artist from Finland. To be fair, wording out my thoughts and feelings is difficult. Maybe because they never sound like the way I feel them. That’s why I love making music. It’s my vessel to communicate about feelings that would lose their meaning if I just blurted it out. I’m a deep thinker, messy, chaotic. But at the same time extremely organized from the outside perspective. And this mess inside me, I’m only able to unravel it through my songs. What I want to tell in my songs, are stories. Stories from life, from real life people, real feelings and thoughts. Something that’s buried inside us, that you and me neither can’t sometimes explain in a way that it sounds like the way it feels. With my songs, melodies, instruments, production, I want to bring these stories alive in a way that even without lyrics, you can feel the story. Absolutely no AI is used in anything what I do. I hate that AI has been brought into the field of art. I just want to make this clear. This is me, a real human being writing this right now. And I hope that matters. Thank you Nia @livewire.cymru for this beautiful picture 💛 by @jeuliamusic
Greatest ideas come from letting go 🕊️ by @jeuliamusic
Once you let go you notice how ideas just magically come to you. Let’s give ourselves space and remember to have some fun 🤍 by @jeuliamusic
Last night I decided to jump in and perform Night at the Planetarium for the first time in front of a live audience in Berlin. Thank you @openmichankchinaski @cafehankchinaski for hosting the comfiest open mic in the city 💗 It was my second time performing here and the atmosphere is just always so friendly and welcoming. This song will be out in October and I have been working this song for a few months now. Usually I’d let my songs just fly at some point but this one means more to me than any other song I’ve ever written. Still working on it for a week or so to transfer the feeling to you I had at that night at the planetarium 🪐✨ by @jeuliamusic
The world has felt scary lately. But this is a reminder to not lose hope. It is important for all of us to use our voice without thinking that the entire world is on our shoulders. That is only going to paralyze us one at a time, burnout by burnout. Remember to zoom in at times when the world gets too overwhelming. And actually, be aware of the entirety, but stay zoomed in. What can you do in your close circle to not be a part of the chain that causes chaos around the world? All of us have much more power than we think, especially when it comes to affecting our immediate surroundings. My ultimate goal is to inspire people to just grab the wheel of their own life and start doing things, just like I'm doing music without an education on music production or songwriting. I'm just figuring out stuff along the way and that's the beauty of it really. I want to inspire people around me to do the same. And that's my way of zooming in, picking a goal that aligns with the world that I'm envisioning, and workings towards that in the fields of my passions. So my advice for those who battle with the anxiety of wanting to help the world's situation, and feeling helpless, but at the same time have a passion for something that doesn't directly affect the situation on a larger scale: Zoom out, acknowledge the chaos, pick a problem that feels the most important for you to fix, find your passion(s) and work towards fixing that problem from that passion. Let's not lose hope, but stand up and start working for a better future. All of us are parts of these societies and can genuinely make a difference. It's not just something that is completely out of our control. But we have to start from zooming in and seeing what is there for us to do right now, not in five years. So, I want you to ask yourself: What could I do right now to work towards that better world I'm envisioning? Maybe it's as simple as to call a friend, read a book to educate yourself on a topic, record your first podcast episode on your phone, write a first page to your book about a topic important to you. You can do this, I genuinely believe in you all <3 by @jeuliamusic
Our brains register more than we think. Believe in yourself and be kind to yourself queen ⭐️✨ #musician #singersongwriter by @jeuliamusic
Me forgetting to turn off the filter before recording 💀 #cover @mikiratsula by @jeuliamusic
I approach production very intuitively like songwriting. Whatever sounds good to my ear is basically good to go 😎 #songtutorial #logicprox #producer #indieproducer #singersongwriter by @jeuliamusic
Some random demo I wrote yesterday. Not sure what I think of this one. Gives me @rexorangecounty vibes for some reason by @jeuliamusic
This song hits deep every single time 🥲 #cover @gigi4perez by @jeuliamusic
My heart was pounding out of my chest. It’s crazy how stage fright can actually develop when you have a break from performing. But slowly getting back at it ⭐️ by @jeuliamusic
Ghost Train was born from the frustration of people not paying attention to their surroundings these days. We’re all caught up in our own minds that sometimes we forget how much listening and giving to others can actually help in making the world a much better place for yourself and others. Ghost Train was my very first single which I released earlier this year. I feel like I could’ve tried to perfect it forever but the truth in making music is that you just gotta let them fly out of the nest at some point 🕊️ Link in bio to the song. Thank you everyone who have listened to it so far 🫶 Love you all by @jeuliamusic
