For years, I was the skinny guy.

The one who got called names.
The one who hated taking his shirt off.
The one who laughed it off in public but thought about it when nobody was around.

I told myself it didn’t bother me.

It did.

Building my body changed more than my physique.

It gave me confidence.
It gave me discipline.
It gave me proof that I was capable of becoming someone different.

That’s why Project Hero exists.

Not because I have a perfect body.
Not because I have all the answers.

But because I’ve been where you are.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, overlooked, or uncomfortable in your own skin, I see you.

And I promise you it’s possible to change.

i hated being skinny.
i hated looking in the mirror and feeling small.feeling invisible.feeling weak.
so i locked in.
years of consistency.years of learning.years of failing and figuring it out.
110 lbs to 145 lean.
that’s why i built project hero.
because i know exactly what it feels like to start from nothing.
DM “HERO” if you’re ready to change too.

You probably don’t need more exercises.
You need to actually push the ones you’re already doing.
A lot of people keep adding movements when the real problem is they’re not getting enough out of the basics.
Do a few things well. Get stronger at them. Then add more if you actually need to. by @jevonsito

You’re way too focused on where somebody else is at.
You don’t know how long they’ve been doing this, what their genetics are like, or what their situation looks like.
Look at where you were a month ago.
Are you stronger? Are you moving better? Are you more consistent?
That’s the comparison that actually matters. by @jevonsito

Supplements are supposed to supplement what you’re already doing.
If your meals are random, your protein is low, and your calories are all over the place, buying more stuff isn’t going to fix that.
Get consistent with the basics first.
Then use supplements for what they’re actually meant for. by @jevonsito

You’re not sore anymore? Good.
That doesn’t mean the workout stopped working. It means your body adapted.
If you’re lifting more, getting more reps, or moving better, you’re making progress.
Stop judging your workouts by how wrecked you feel the next day. by @jevonsito

Missing one day is not what ruins your progress.
What gets people is letting one missed workout turn into three days, then a week, then telling themselves they “fell off.”
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to come back before the miss becomes the new normal.
Bad workout? Go anyway.
Short workout? Still counts.
Low energy? Do what you can and keep the routine alive.
Consistency isn’t never missing.
It’s not disappearing when you do. by @jevonsito

Your weight is not supposed to be the exact same every morning.
Water, sodium, carbs, digestion, stress — all of that can move the scale without you actually gaining fat.
That’s why I don’t want you treating one random weigh-in like it means everything you’ve been doing stopped working.
Look at the weekly average.
Look at the trend over time.
That’s what tells you what’s actually happening.
One morning is data. It’s not the whole story. by @jevonsito

A lot of people rush their rest because they think standing around means they’re not working hard enough.
But if you cut your rest short and your next set is weaker, you’re not making the workout better. You’re just making yourself more tired.
Rest long enough to actually perform.
For heavier movements, that usually means around 2–3 minutes.
For smaller isolation work, 60–90 seconds is usually enough.
The goal isn’t to leave the gym as tired as possible.
The goal is to give your muscles a reason to grow. by @jevonsito

Carbs somehow became the first thing people blame no matter what the goal is.

But if you’re bulking, cutting, or recomping, you still need to train hard enough for your body to actually adapt.

That’s where carbs come in.

They help fuel training, support performance, and make it easier to get enough work in when the goal is building or keeping muscle.

The amount you need changes depending on the phase.

Their purpose doesn’t.

Bulk, cut, recomp.

Same fuel. Different calories. by @jevonsito

there’s so many things i’d like to tell the guy on the left.
i think if he saw me now he’d be extremely motivated to keep going.
but at the time i wasn’t, i just learned to keep going even when i didn’t want to.
it taught me delayed gratification, discipline with my eating habits, and that i could do what i put my mind to.
internally it built me just as well as external. i became more confident in myself i challenged myself to get better every time i went.
it pays off.
you just have to keep going.
things i know now i wish i could’ve told to the guy who was just starting and was scared of being judged by others.
i now try to spread by knowledge thru my clients and help them develop this.
