2025 Goal: Museum visits once a month! It was such an amazing experience to visit all these museums, truly blown away by the art and history! It was inspirational, healing, and educational. There were numerous things to learn and gain from each museum.
Pic 1. February: Museum of Modern Art and Design. The Barbie Exhibit--absolutely fabulous!! All the vintage to modern Barbies and their clothing was amazing! And, she was very progressive for women – – Barbie owned her own home before banks would let women have their own checking accounts.🙄
If that car were real, I would've floored it out of that museum!😁🏎️
Pic 2. September: Neue Gallerie. 20th century art and design from German and Austrian artists. Sitting in front of a reproduction of "Adele Bloch-Bauer I" by Gustav Klimt.
Pic 3 &4. August: The Met Cloisters. European Medieval, Romanesque, and Gothic art and architecture from the 1100s-1500s. Had quite the trek getting there because of things going on with transit-- took the subway, bus, even Citibike, and lots of walking to eventually get to it at the top of Fort Tryon Park--not an easy feat in the summer humidity!🥵
Pic 5. July: Museum of Ice Cream. My old roomate and her daughter were visiting the city and it was so fun to play in all the exhibits and enjoy the delicious treats!🍦
Pics 6 & 7. March: "Luna, Luna" at The Shed. The re-display of the world's first art amusement park in Hamburg, Germany from 1987. It was incredible to see the original pieces by artists: Kenny Scharf, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Monika Gil'sing, Arik Brauer, David Hockney, and more. Pictures in the mirror maze and one of a few mural art walls by Keith Haring.
Pic 8 & 9. October: Museum of Broadway. A comprehensive history of artifacts, memorabilia, music, and costumes from Vaudeville and Minstrel shows to modern-day Broadway shows; rooted in talent, entertainment, and vicious racism. I highly recommend visiting this museum to get the full understanding of this incredible and controversial American institution. Pictures at the "Hair" exhibit and of showgirl costumes--ladies after my own heart!😉❤️💃🏼

Accomplished my 2024 goal last year of skating once a month in a new place each time in all my skates: ice skates, rollerblades, and roller skates!! And, got an ornament from my siblings to celebrate it!!🛼⛸️
Going backwards in the year--
December: Ice skating at Domino Park
November: Ice skating at Brookfield Place
October: Ice skating at Chelsea Piers
September: Roller skating at Riverside Park Rink
August: Rollerblading at Central Park
July: Rollerblading at Riverside Park Boardwalk, North
June: Roller skating at Riverside Park Courts
May: Rollerblading at Riverside Boardwalk, South
April: Rollerblading at Riverside Park
March: Ice skating at Rockefeller Center
February: Ice skating at Wollman Rink
January: Ice skating at Bryant Park

My favorite places--Domino Park had the best city view and chill staff, Riverside Park Rink had the chillest staff and with Wollman Rink have the biggest rink sizes, Riverside Boardwalk on the north side is really pretty with the sunlight, ocean, trees, and view of George Washington Bridge, and the Central Park loop is fun and tough if you can take the climb at the top of the park and then a fast ride downhill!😄

With the Autumnal Equinox coming up tomorrow, it's time to officially say goodbye to Summer!! I feel so lucky that I got to spend the season in both CA and NY!
Time spent with my family at Disneyland, at home, at the beach, and surfing.
Time spent with good friends, coworkers, and former castmates in CA and NY.
Rollerblading, Roller Skating, and seeing friends in shows in the city and the parade at Dland
All my different hairdos for set – – and one of them my hair was sprayed dark brunette for a very particular role that hopefully will be coming out soon!
Filming and publishing my new creative content for TikTok and YouTube: being the many characters I've seen and heard in the city--"Real Conversations Overheard in New York City."
Getting to spend the Fourth of July as an invited guest to the awesome Macy's firework show.
Having a tea party with friends for my birthday.
And finally, all the good eats with friends and family on both coasts!!

Happy International Day of Yoga! 🧘‍♀️
I took my first yoga class in college--"Yoga for Actors" and have been drawn to this discipline ever since. I love it's relatability to dance and in becoming a teacher, learning about it's ancient history and it's deep connection between body, mind, spirit, universe, community, and God. It's healed me in so many ways as a student and as a teacher I have truly treasured being the conduit to help others feel peace, become stronger, more balanced, and to heal. Namaste🙏

Flashback Friday to a few years ago when I was a contestant on "Let's Make a Deal!" I had such a great time playing on the game show! They really encouraged us to be the most excited and expressive we've ever been in our life, but honestly, that's what made it so much fun!!😁

My goal for 2023 was to see at least one show per month, and sometimes I surpassed it! It was so wonderful and soul-filling to see so many shows: musicals, plays, the MET Opera, the NY Philharmonic, and The Christmas Spectacular! And especially, to see friends perform in quite a few of them!

Before the year officially ends, I wanted to publish my last episode of “Me and My Big Hair” Season III Episode 6: How I Do My Favorite Things! Click the link in my bio to watch it!
I started this project many years ago from an idea by an acting teacher, the awesome @stuartkcreative. It took a lot longer to complete than I would’ve guessed, for various and sundry reasons. But, I’m proud to say I produced 18 episodes of all my own creative content and ideas, along with hairstyling, makeup, activities, editing, and most all of the filming, except for a few friends helping out here and there. Thanks for those who watched it along the way and newer fans, too!!
Stay tuned for my next project with an entirely different concept!
