Tis the season for witching hours… by @jfloresfd
Sushi nights are my fav… by @jfloresfd
Forever grateful for the families I have the privilege to serve. Not many people understand how crazy my work life can be. Unless you’re with me you’ll see I’m Pretty much always on my phone. It’s crazy to know how we did it back when cell phones weren’t attached to us as they are now. Using a key map. Or printing directions off Mapquest lol! Being recognized by families makes all the stress and anxiety I get worth it. Well sometimes, cause it’s definitely not your normal 9-5. I honestly feel they think I have no life outside of work and that I probably live at the funeral home. These gifts are my “job” well done for a service that no one ever wants to have for people they love. Constantly asking myself Did I order this? Did I confirm that? Taking first calls in the middle of the night then not being able to go back to sleep knowing I have to get my son up for school and begin a new day. Not eating. Feet pounding. My mind is always going. Yea…. This industry isn’t for the weak. But it’s all I know how to do. And it’s obvious I do it well. 🖤🧑🏽‍🩰🧿 #lifeofafuneraldirector #womeninfuneralservice by @jfloresfd

A weekend with my besties, kickin ass with my work fam, dinner with mi familia to saving a poor doggy on the freeway on my way to work this morning. Cheers to 41 years of life! Thank you GOD for giving me the strength and courage to be able to share my heart with everyone and everything that comes into my life. Thank you everyone for the gifts, messages and blessings. Without you I am not me. 🫶🏽 #41 by @jfloresfd
I missed spending time with my dad on his birthday August 4th because of work and Jaycobs “mandatory” football practice. Today once again I had to work and Jaycob had a “mandatory” jamboree at 6 which would have ruined my time to spend with my dad. HOWEVER, my dad asked if he could come with me on a funeral out of town. He said “well if this is the only time I have to spend with you today then it is what it is” my dad saw me in work mode. Now he knows why I say my feet are always hurting, and I think he 100% sees just how big my heart is for others who are hurting. It turned out to be the best late lunch I’ve ever had with me dad. Even though we were riding in a hearse, drenched in sweat and dirty, I can honestly say, I think he enjoyed our time today too. Today was a reminder to literally just go do it! What’s the worst that could happen? I should be grateful to still have him in my life. I can’t begin to even imagine if I wouldn’t have celebrated his special day with him this year. As next year could never be promised. HAPPY 77th birthday to my pops! Shout to RUMY at @anthoniesmarketgrill for her superb hospitality and making my dads birthday extra memorable. #taketimeforyourfamily #grandpajoe by @jfloresfd

I love the adrenaline rush I get every triathlon morning. Like, why settle at being a bad ass at 1 sport when you can be a bad ass at 3 sports in 1 race. Just sayin…. Free race pics Friday from the Cypress Tri. 🤘🏽 #girlswhotri #swimbikerun #theynotlikeus by @jfloresfd
My son said “mama I made a video of you” at the Cypress Tri. 🥹 AUTOMATIC POST! I was like Interesting song choice but he said all the cool people have it. So I guess that makes me cool 🤣#trigirls #swimbikerun #boymom by @jfloresfd
