I've watched the early morning workouts, the weight cuts, the doubts, and the triumphs. I've seen him go through the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows in life. This weekend the world gets to see what we've known all along. Proud is an understatement. Dreams becoming reality. The octagon has no idea what's coming 😈👊🏻 by @jfsniper18

Two years ago, my wife and I were headed to watch our friend Malcolm Wellmaker’s Contender Series fight at the UFC Apex with Joel Faglier in the car — just talking about life, dreams, and what’s next. Malcolm won by knockout that night, with Joel coaching from his corner. Malcolm returns to the Octagon this weekend, October 10th, at the Apex, against Otari Tanzilovi. Now Joel makes his own Octagon debut — October 17th in Edmonton, Canada, against Javad Mahjoub. He got the call and steps into the Octagon, bringing the strength of Gold’s Gym, the skills from Faglier’s MMA, and the backing of the United States of America. From the corner to the cage. Who’s watching with us? @jfsniper18 @fagliersmma @wallathemachine @ggevansga @kenlynchmygram @goldsgym #JoelFaglier #FagliersMMA #GoldsGymEvansGA #UFC #Edmonton” by @jfsniper18

Imagine, you fall in love with a guy and he tells you that he dreams of being a UFC fighter, a great father, and a Christian husband.

You fast forward 4 years and you’ve been married over a year and have grown in Christ together, you have experienced parenthood in a way that opens your eyes forever with a beautiful rainbow baby on the way, and the only thing that you have prayed for, for him, (other than those things) is just an arms length away, the UFC.

THEN you get the call, he’s overseas competing at Worlds for beach wrestling, and he tells you it’s happening, that he made it. All the hard work and sacrifices that he’s made over the years finally pays off.

You can only imagine how excited I was. The tears that I cried. The praise I gave God! But then you look back at the 20 year old who was madly in love with him and realized how you thought all of these things were just a dream that you and him talked about. But they aren’t, they are real. And THEY ARE HAPPENING. 🤍

Joel, as your wife, I couldn’t be more proud and more excited about this new chapter in our lives. God has given you this talent and I love to see how you use the sport to preach the gospel. I love you so much. Now go out there and show the world what you are made of. ❤️ by @jfsniper18
