------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appreciate the "moments", those that we always think are inconsequential and everyday, but that the passage of time teaches you that they are the ones you will remember all your life 🙂.

A visit to Lagos (Algarve, southern Portugal 🇵🇹), where I was able to admire the incredible cliffs and natural caves of what is known as Ponta da Piedade 🌊😮😮🙂. It’s one of those places that leave you in awe every single second you spend taking them in—a place where nature asserts its chaotic harmony and makes you wonder: how did I not discover this sooner? 🙂🙂

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ever since I was young, I stood out from my friends because—while I was fascinated by everything "new" just like them (computers, music players, etc.)—I enjoyed everything "old" to the very same extent. An old door like the one in the photo would transport me, letting my imagination wander to bygone ways of life—simpler, less complicated times—and helping me distinguish the essential from the superfluous. It was a true life lesson for me. 🙂🙂

An incredible visit to the El Soplao cave (Cantabria, Spain). You know I value natural wonders far more than anything created by humans, and in this case, the experience couldn't be more beautiful, educational, and amazing 😮😮🙂. Photography isn't allowed inside the cave, but I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area 👋👋🙂.

I’m revisiting a photo of mine from a while back that reminds me of a "need" that is always with me: the need for silent contemplation of the spectacles nature offers us 🏔️🤗🤗🙂. In this instance, it’s the snow-capped Picos de Europa (Northern Spain) viewed from a privileged vantage point 😮😮👁️—though you can experience similar feelings watching a sunset 🌄 at the perfect moment 🥰, a rushing river 💦, or an imposing seaside cliff 🌊🤗🤗🙂.

September is the month of magical 🌄✨ and unique sunsets—the kind that bring you back to reality after the inevitable intensity of summer 🙂. You reconnect with yourself, consolidate everything you’ve learned so far this year, and realize you are "different" from the person you were on January 1st 🙂. That is precisely what makes September so special 🤗🤗🙂

A truly evocative and enriching visit to Villaviciosa and the fishing village of Tazones 🌊 (Asturias - Spain). Time seems to flow slowly in both towns; their streets are steeped in history and tradition. Even in the hustle and bustle of August, it's wonderful to visit traditional businesses that still offer a smile and a genuine dedication to excellent service 👏👏👏🙂

Simply a place I’ve dreamed of since childhood—a place where I’ve read stories of shipwrecks, miraculous discoveries, and seafaring myths 🌊📖. The beauty of the natural surroundings blends with the wildness of the Cantabrian Sea, and the mysterious legend of a sailor’s curse creates the perfect atmosphere to let my restless imagination soar 💭🥰🥰🙂

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has taken me a long time—far too long—to visit a village as spectacular and impressive as Orbaneja del Castillo (Burgos). Set in a privileged landscape dominated by the upper Ebro River and its tributaries, the entire area is a mystery waiting to be discovered and a feast for the senses 👁️💦🌿🙂

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

An enriching visit to the Roman Villa of La Olmeda (Pedrosa de la Vega, Palencia) and the lovely nearby towns of Carrión de los Condes and Saldaña. I always like to look a bit deeper; beyond everything I learned about life in Roman villas situated far from the empire's centers of power, I enjoy reflecting on the fact that, over 1,500 years ago, people enjoyed a standard of living that was in some ways even higher than today's—while facing "problems" not so different from those of "modern" life. 🙂
