Chapter 1:📘☑️Chapter 2: 📖✍️...Woodford track has been nothing but a blessing. This time a little over 3 years ago, I picked up my first pole, and little did I know what God had in store. I never thought I would even consider track and field, yet now I don’t know where I’d be without it. Sorry to sound cliche, but it genuinely has changed my life. New Balance Nationals Outdoor 2024!Always an exciting weekend at NBN, extremely blessed to be able to attend once again. Getting top 8 and “placing” at a national meet is never something I thought I would do. Just 2 places off being a New Balance All-American. Ended up finishing at 15’3” (4.65m) and placing 8th. Great Day at the class 3A KY State MeetFinished 2nd place at 15’6” (4.72m) - a PR & school record This past week for the first time, I really just “gripped it and ripped it” gripping about 1-2 hands higher than my normal grip throughout the season. With all the speed work I’ve been doing, it allowed me to move my grip up successfully. PR Day14’9” & 15’0”Made some crucial adjustments. Gripping 3.5” higher and really loading into my takeoffLong awaited 15 ft… finally left it up. CKC Meet tonight at WJHS. Ended at 14’6” jumping on my smaller pole. Went to 15’ and had one really good third attempt. (Ran through my first two overthinking).
