The Solid Rock is now streaming
Hymns 4 (Songs of Glory) EP releases 10/9

I love the first line of this almost 200 year old hymn
“My hope is built on nothing less”
Hope…built?
Seems odd at first but it all depends on what hope is being built upon
The 2nd line solves the question
“Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness”
Building hope upon a perfect life given to bring us into right relationship with the Father
Matthew 7:24 tells us that’s wisdom
Wisdom indeed

Classic song inspired by an even more classic scripture.

Time tested truth.

The bible is the ultimate in “real talk”

Yeah, but how? Always a good question.

Keep going back to the source of life! Just like so many before you AND beside you.

Spirit Songs 2 (Holy and Anointed One) is now streaming on all platforms.

I had such a great time working on these songs. I have many memories of leading these songs in church services, the connections run deep.

My prayer with this release is that the songs provide moments of reflection, a sense of peace and a vehicle for expressions of worship, gladness and nearness.

Don’t be weird, be normal, be polite and be inwardly aware of the reality.

Thankful for God’s amazing grace for all the times we don’t get this one right. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 by @jhanz

I stated playing this during a sound check probably 3 or more years ago. It’s evolved a lot since that moment to get to this place. It’s unnamed as of now. Doing these videos is hilarious. I’m learning as I go. Hopefully the chill vibes resonate. Grace and peace y’all. #guitar #instrumental by @jhanz

3 month check-in after retirement where I answer questions about what’s going on in my life. One pressing question not answered, “Why does Hanz always do videos holding a guitar?” by @jhanz
