I stared this last night. It’s about three hours of effort and I am starting to like how this is coming together. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and just being sad when I know I have a much to be grateful for. I promise myself yesterday that when I can’t sleep I am going to do something. I picked this yarn when my niece and nephew were in elementary school, 10 years ago. I can remember they helped me pick the color, when I only ever pick solid colors or something in. Black/ white/ grey. My plan was to knit something up to show them how to knit but then I got busy with life or work. I am not following a pattern, just a vague memory of when I learned crocheting from my great grandma and some patterns I’ve seen on social media. Unlike life, a do over is easy in crochet, which is giving me a feeling of peace. I can just rip this apart and start over if I don’t like how it turns out taken in Pikesville, Maryland by @jhard18
