Great time up in Fort Collins for @focofondo this past weekend! Big thanks to @whit.allison and @zacharylallison and their whole team for putting on such a great event. Despite the close to 100 degree temps, the moods were high and people were all having a good time. Got to see some old friends and some new and even got our arms twisted to race the relay :) by @jhuseby

🇯🇵 2026 in photos. Made our way to Hokkaido to experience all that this Northern part of Japan has to offer. We ended up being smitten with the food and found some incredible places with locally grown and caught deliciousness. We toured around a bit, starting in Sapporo, then to Niseko, then Otaru, Lake Toya and back to Sapporo. For me this was the first time going to Japan outside of the airport. I really would like to go back to Hokkaido as it is mountainous like where we are in CO, not as tall, but still many, many 🏔️’s. We probably sat in an onsen everyday we were there as well soaking in the minerals and heat. Truly a beautiful place and somewhere I am keen to see more of and take in more of the local culture. Plus I had the best companion one could ask for ❤️ by @jhuseby

A few months ago, @joelawwill and I were chatting @breckepic about going back to 24 Hours of Old Pueblo. I had done it a few years ago, he and @mmcyclist had done it last year and we brought along @xclemjustinx and @slasher200 to fill our 5 person coed team out. As we have had a pretty unusual “winter” here on the front range, we had a chance to do a bit of riding prior to heading down to the desert. It was a lot of fun to ride as a new team and get to know some of our teammates for the first time and get to hang out in our great compound that we had set-up. This is such an awesome event as the vibe is on point. It’s fun to escape Colorado in the winter for some desert goodness and get to camp and race through the night. We all had a blast and left with a bunch of big smiles on all of our faces. Nicely done, Team!! by @jhuseby

I was recently at my parents house and found this absolute gem from 1992. I raced the previous year as a get your feet wet kind of thing, but in 1992 I travelled out to Colorado and raced all of the big Nationals, CORPS races and the World Cup in Vail and later the World Championships in Bromont, Quebec. This I believe is from Catamount in Vermont where we raced a lot since it was just a couple of hours away from where I grew up. It’s so wild to look at this and think back 34 years and all of the amazing memories that I have. I’m thankful to too many people to mention that helped me along the way, pushed me up the difficult climbs, taught me tough love, and encouraged me in all the right ways. I was so fortunate to be surrounded by a great crew that wanted to lend a hand and wanted to show me the trails and what this mountain bike racing thing was all about. A lot of people think of me as a lycra wearing roadie and don’t realize that fat tires were my roots and are a big part of how I think of myself as a cyclist still. While styles have changed and technology has advanced to a truly amazing place, mountain bikes for me are an incredible vehicle to explore and see areas, trails and vistas that you might never get to on foot. This photo reminds me of all the things I love about mountain biking and the joy it has given me for a big chunk of my life. by @jhuseby

After 6 days of riding, @mmcyclist and I are very close to our goal of 500 km since the 24th of December. Today was the coldest yet that we’ve ridden outside and was about 38 when we pulled up to the garage at the end of the ride. Since it has been unseasonably warm, we are making the most of the fact we don’t have enough snow to ski on. by @jhuseby

What a week. We definitely fit it all in. We got to really explore southern Spain to the fullest. We got in some beautiful rides, ate some amazing food, saw some picturesque landscapes and old villages nestled in the hills. Getting to ride around an area by bike and see the sites, scenery and what was around the next corner was a true treat. Even better, I got to do so with my partner in crime, my numero uno @mmcyclist Here’s to a life of more adventures ahead. Glad I get to do all this with you ❤️ taken in Marbella, Spain by @jhuseby

I grew up as a baseball player from a young age. I scoured the newspaper daily during the season keeping track of players stats and how my team, the Boston Red Sox was doing. My dad would bring me to games starting when I was quite young. To this day, if I step in Fenway Park, I get the same feeling from the smell of popcorn, Fenway Frank’s and everything else. It’s a piece of magic to me. Today, one of my major hero’s growing up, Mike Greenwell has passed. While he wasn’t ever the best, he was always solid, and consistently great. He retired with a lifetime .303 average over his career in the Major’s. His nickname was “the Gator” which I named my cat. He played as the Sox Leftfielder where many famous Red Sox had preceded him including Ted Williams, Yaz and Jim Rice. I still have a whole album of his cards from over the years. Here’s to the Gator for inspiring me to be great as a kid and for all the great memories he created. #rip by @jhuseby

What a few weeks it’s been. Starting in Bellingham, WA several weeks ago for a sales meeting, home for two days and just over two weeks in Asia between Taiwan and Indonesia. We had a successful show in Taiwan seeing customers from all over the world. Then to Indonesia to visit one of our suppliers and customers. Getting to spend Wednesday riding mountain bikes on Mt. Bromo was definitely a highlight. I feel fortunate for my teammates around the world, our great partners, whether that is customers or suppliers, those we work closely with and have true relationships with that are more than just from behind a computer. Thank you to everyone we interfaced with along the way for making this a trip worthwhile! by @jhuseby

I wish I could have taken more pictures than I did. Having come to Indonesia in 2018, I visited a factory we work closely with that invited me back and to plan to ride the great volcano that is Mt Bromo, so in planning for this trip, I made sure to ask if we might be able to do so this time around. We got shuttled all the way up on an absolutely wild road with drop-offs like crazy on either side. It was a major agricultural area where folks had been farming for years. The trails made their way through the farmland and we had the biggest grins on our faces and a few good hoots and hollers to boot. We descended about 7500 feet and went through a variety of ecosystems along the way. Truly a major treat. Finished with some flow trails through the jungle and challenging rocky trail buried in leaves so we didn’t know quite what we were riding over. Really amazing company and tour guides and a memorable day. I have been very fortunate to get to ride in some amazing places around the world, but this is up there as one of the most special places and unforgettable. by @jhuseby

Four months ago, one of our friends booked these camp sites for us up in Wyoming with a lake off to one side and trails in all directions. What a great way to take a load off, unwind and have a relaxing weekend with some of our close friends. That was just what the doctor ordered! Now I’m already on a plane which is going to be a familiar spot for the next three weeks traveling to Bellingham, WA, Taichung, Taiwan, Bali, Indonesia, Medan, Indonesia, and Surabaya, Indonesia. Excited to see many good friends along the way and hopefully make some other new ones as well. Going to miss my partner in crime @mmcyclist as she’ll also be traveling and we’ll be on opposite sides of the world. Quite literally. by @jhuseby
