The CANG series is inspired by textile craft, using hand-twisted and woven silver wire to explore the relationship between material, structure, and rhythm.

The self-made tools played a key role in the process. They weren’t just helpers, but collaborators that shaped the form and language of each piece alongside me.

The Cang series draws inspiration from textile craftsmanship, using silver wire to explore the interplay between tools, techniques, and materials. By developing and employing self-made tools, I weave, reconstruct and shape metal wire, evolving a design approach in which tool and outcome co-exist. In this process, the tool becomes more than a means of making—it acts as a co-creator, influencing rhythm, structure, and texture.
