I attended the #financefair2025 @thefintribe and picked up some valuable insights from @dereawosika's speech. She's definitely a wealth of knowledge!

Her key point: To level up, you need to grow in three areas: Intellectual & Emotional, Spiritual & Moral, and Financial. The goal is to improve your knowledge, values, and finances.

🍓 It’s strawberry season, and I can’t wait for the first harvest 💃🏾

While we wait, here’s a quick tip on how to wash strawberries properly.

This simple method helps eliminate dirt, bacteria, and even pesticide residues, so your berries are fresh and safe to enjoy.

How I wash my strawberries:
1. Sterilize your washing area (clean surface, clean hands 🙌🏾).
2. Fill a bowl with water and add your strawberries.
3. Sprinkle in some baking soda (let the spirit guide the hands 😁).
4. Pour in vinegar (watch the magic reaction happen 😁)
5. Let the strawberries soak for 5–7 minutes.
6. Wash in small batches. This way, you can separate the firm ones, the softer ones, and the dirtier ones.
7. Rinse thoroughly (I usually rinse twice, until the water runs clear).

That’s it — fresh, clean, juicy strawberries ready to enjoy! 🍓

I’ve been contemplating whether to join the #levelupyourcontentwithcatherineonoja #LUYC challenge or not… But this says it all. 🤗

It’s 30 days of lazy editing and showing up for myself and for the amazing sponsor who gave me this opportunity to learn new skills with Catherine.

It won’t be without its challenges (work will definitely keep me on my toes 😅), but I’m committed to being consistent. It may not be perfect, but it will be worth it.

From just a random comment to actually doing a challenge in 2024.😫😫
Our list consists of rice, ewedu (jute leaves), sardine, Cameron pepper and the secret ingredient chocolate chips.
I couldn’t get my hands on chocolate chips so I used the source itself -cacao/cocoa powder.

I can do without rice, ewedu, chocolate chips and sardine for a year or more. Having them on my list felt like a challenge so I had to come up with something fun😉- CHOCO RICE PANCAKES WITH SARDINE TOPPINGS 😁

I imagined eating ewedu sardine soup and rice together and it was the worst thought ever.
If I had the pan, maybe we could have made masa with sardine stuffing.

The rice was soaked overnight, I don’t know why but the internet said I should.

Items from my pantry: eggs, sugar, and oat powder (because I love oats 😁)

The ewedu didn’t have any taste to it. When @chefzoeyblaq wrote “lol epele” I knew I had to make it work and enjoy it while at it.

My mom enjoyed this meal tbh and so did I. Just found a way to incorporate rice into my diet and will certainly be trying this again 😁.

That deep breathe before the first bite though 😂😂😫😂😫

Which challenge are we taking up next??? 🤣🤣🤣
