𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 ☀️

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱.

I believe a lot of us grew up with some version of work hard and you’ll get the things you want. Hustle now, enjoy the reward later.

But maybe I’m at a place in my life where working hard has become second nature to me. And somewhere along the way, I realized I don’t want joy, peace, community, or rest to be things I’m constantly working toward. I want them to be part of the life I’m already living.

Maybe balance isn’t about working less. Maybe it’s about building a life where not everything meaningful feels like work.

June + July felt like my little experiment in that.

Working hard. Saving so I could play hard. Spending time with people I love. Going out probably a little too hard 😂. And then learning to 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 too - intentionally making space to do absolutely nothing, reflect, and take some planned-but-not-planned PTO because apparently the J + P in my INFJ/P are constantly negotiating.

I’m learning that balance doesn’t mean giving everything equal time. And “having it all” doesn’t necessarily mean having everything all at once.

Sometimes it’s choosing what matters most for 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄, while still making choices that take care of the person you’re becoming.

So, one day at a time. One minute at a time. One second at a time.

Enjoy the moments as they come - the good, the messy, and the bad. Eventually, they all become either 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗝𝗶𝗻.

More memories. More lessons. More becoming. 🤍
