VENICE.
The category is: you had to be there.

In a city where thousands of the same postcard-worthy
photos are taken of their famed monuments, I questioned the meaning of taking another photo.

So I played with perspectives, angles, and people — the details that draw you into the lived-in place beyond the frame, and into the shoes of the human behind the camera.

In doing so, I realized my answer to the question (at least for this trip) lay in taking photos that evoke a living moment, rather than a stillness. Ones that make it undeniably true that it had to be you, and that you really had to be there to notice those things. taken in Venise - Italie by @jiji.digi

I took slide 7 after learning that Gaudi got hit by a tram and no one saved him in time because he dressed like a homeless person and no one realized he was literally Gaudi and so he died. taken in Barcelona by @jiji.digi
