The Vernal equinox spent with best friends and hubby on the most northern tip of an island drinking the setting sun. No other people but the four of us who had traveled together to Hanalei 19 years ago.
We spent three hours taking this all in. Raw ocean 🌊 waves with rhythmic pounding slammed the door on winter.
We are now the seeds of spring ready to flourish and bring joy and color to all.

The magic hour in the valley as the 4:30 sun has set. I have walked in to an impressionistic painting. I stood here in awe and was reaffirmed that it would never be possible to have AI replace the tangible experiences of our 5 senses. #yosemite is the purest medium to imbibe. There is no better anti depressant. There is no stronger faith. Heaven on earth.

The Japanese garden was simply a perfect zen retreat. It offered the stillness that my anxious mind had been seeking. Finny and I photographed the infamous japanese maple and then concluded our day with browsing books at Powells Bookstore. We found an incredible vegan restaurant called @fermenter_pdx These brief moments in time are the treasured moments that highlight our chapters. It was a well needed escape with my kid to once again discover the importance of now.

Made it to the Narrows. This canyon has long been calling my name and a bucket list achievement. The night before was crazy monsoon action so we were not sure the narrows would even be open. You can tell by the muddy water the earlier storm conditions. Graham and I hiked in about 4 miles. The water was pretty dang warm and the canyon temp was 65. Perfect conditions which allowed us to go in deep. It was everything and more of what I had hoped for. The natural beauty of our lands are ethereal. Spent many a meditative moment a just standing and looking up in awe. Thank you Mother Earth. Riding horses on Navajo land was simply sublime. Took a quick water break and snapped a pano shot of this unparalleled landscape. To stand here while the president is pillaging our blms, national parks and Indian land made me even more aware of how we must fight to protect her. Please sign, protest, call, email, yell.
