I’m not one to post lengthy paragraphs on social media, but for some reason, I was inspired this morning. So buckle in for poor sentence structure and grammatical errors.

Personally this year was fucking a roller coaster of super amazing memories and good times, and then curling up in the fetal position catatonic not wanting to leave the house…But here stand.

I honestly don’t believe in resolutions. Adding one more thing to “live up too” or “promise to achieve” just adds to my own personal library of anxieties I already have. Instead, I’m going to keep doing my best and moving forward. Learning from my errors, laughing with my friends and family, and hopefully continuing to love myself and appreciate my value in this world.

I only have control what’s in front of me, and that changes every day. One day my hair is perfectly clean the next…I look like Meg Mucklebones from the movie Legend staring a very young Tom Cruise. You just gotta lean into the chaos some days.

Just wanted to remind those who might see this that you are doing great everyday and a new year doesn’t mean shit. It’s just another day and you have the control to make it a good one or a shitty one, whichever is fine…just don’t be a dick and take it out on others.
