“And he said to all, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” - Luke 9:23
Coming into this trip I was expectant of God’s work but was overwhelmed with the ways He worked through us for His glory. The presence of God in Costa Rica was undeniable. I witnessed a joy from every person we encountered that didn’t come from possessions or comfort, but from trusting Jesus.
This trip reminded me what it means to deny myself, pickup my cross daily, and follow Him. Watching the Lord work through genuine connection, despite language barriers and completely different walks of life, was a reminder that the gospel reaches far beyond anything we could ever do on our own. Not only am I so grateful to be the hands and feet of Jesus, but even more grateful to do it alongside 19 of my newest best friends. We had the privilege of seeing God move and witness His faithfulness every single day.
Thank you so much for all the prayers and support!!! by @jillian.labelle
