Words simply cannot express how proud and how grateful I am of this wonderful group and the amazing 10th anniversary concert they put on. As a member for 4 years, president for 3 years, and music director for the last year, I have poured my heart into this ensemble and they have poured theirs back every time. It was wonderful to see many of the alumni again, and I want to give a special thanks to @alesignorella for encouraging me to become president, @emma.kclark for being my faithful md and friend, and @mk.downing for always supporting me, both on the exec team and off.

This concert was a brainchild of mine from 3 years ago once I first became president, and it is surreal to see it come to its conclusion. I could not have done it without my fabulous executive team, or the ensemble of 2025-26: thank you for putting up with long hours, inane arrangements, and my constant yelling. I hope you enjoyed the fruits of our labour as much as I was able to. And of course, thank you to all of the alumni for coming back one last time to perform on the stage with us—I hope to see us all reinvited at the 20th anniversary.

This is my final year of Surround Sound A Cappella, but it is not the end: I’ve got a few things cooking up for them, and who knows, maybe I’ll come back next year to run sound for their concerts.

I love you guys so much. Surround slay 💜
