hi everyone! taking a second to introduce myself!

my name is jillian, i’m 20 years old & live in metro detroit, michigan!

i’ve always had a fascination with story, ever since i was a little girl. i think life would be pretty boring without the magic that my imagination brings. i’ve had my nose in a book or audiobook ever since i can remember, and this love for story eventually grew into a heart for creating those stories through different mediums.

i’ve always loved anything creative, whether that’s painting, crafting, photography, or simply finding new ways to express myself. photography became the medium that resonated with me the most. getting to observe and capture the love, connection, and little moments that make up someone’s story activates a spark inside of me that’s been alive ever since i opened my first book.

photography helps me see the beauty in people the way that Jesus sees them. if i can capture the beauty that God has placed in someone and give them a way to see it for themselves, that is my goal.

when i’m not behind my camera, you can usually find me traveling, spending time with friends, playing piano, hiking, learning how to surf skate, spending time at the beach, cooking, reading, trying some kind of new painting or craft, or spending time with my best friend, my husband. and, of course, falling off my foamie.

as i continue growing my little photography business, every follow, share, inquiry, booking, and kind word means more than you know. you’re not just supporting a small business, you’re helping me continue to create, tell stories, and pursue something that i truly love.
