Fun to have a feature in @revista_nit written all in Portugeuse! I don’t speak Portugeuse well enough yet but I’m pretty sure it says I am brilliant? Or maybe it just says I am American. Not sure. Ok let’s go with brilliant and call it a day. Thanks @rita_ansone for the pic! by @jim_bianco
Bringing the brothel band to Lisbon for one night. On Tues, June 9 at Palacio do Grilo, myself and the octet joined by two demented go-go dancers will get the freak on. We will perform before @theblackcatcinema presents “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. We hit at 8:30. Bring your demons. 😈🔥 by @jim_bianco
Whoa. For their new ad, MG used “Who I Am”, a song I produced for @sugaroomusic and wrote with @callmelatasha. It kills! When I write and produce for sync/ads, I dream the song will be featured like this. 💥🚀💥🚀 Thanks @sugaroomusic for making it happen! by @jim_bianco
🎙️ Join us for this FREE music workshop 🎶 No music experience nor instrument required. Just curiosity and a desire for fun! Come for CreativeMornings tomorrow, stay for the free experience after lunch from 2 - 3 PM. Community Spirit✨ Presents ReWIRE MUSIC is a hands-on music-making experience where participants co-create a song in real time with songwriter/producer, Jim Bianco, and singer-songwriter-performer, GIEL. Part creative workshop, part live collaboration, this one hour session will explore creative risk-taking and fearless self-expression by writing a song together — from scratch. It’s built around the ReWIRE philosophy: There are no wrong answers! Through simple prompts, live lyric writing and melody creation you will experience what happens when judgment and fear is removed so creativity can flourish! @jim_bianco is an American music producer and songwriter whose music has been on NPR (National Public Radio) and in dozens of TV shows including on HBO, Netflix, Amazon, in Grey Goose and Google commercials. @heyitsgiel is a singer, songwriter, and performer known for emotionally raw, collaborative, and genre-bending live work. She is the creator of The SHIFT at Badassery. 🎤 Meet our second half of this dream duo; music producer Jim Bianco! ✨ @jim_bianco is an LA-bred singer-songwriter, producer, and creative philosopher who spent 15 years touring the world and playing late-night TV before a song he wrote called “Easy Street” landed on The Walking Dead, went viral, and quietly rewired his career. For the past decade he’s been writing and producing music for film, TV, and advertising, logging hundreds of songwriting sessions and developing a hard-won philosophy about what it means to create on command. He’s a collaborator who fills a room with 50 ideas so the right 5 can surface. He believes professionalism begins the moment you stop waiting for inspiration. Based in Lisbon, Jim co-founded ReWIRE Music with GIEL, bringing his session-room wisdom and experience to a creative experience for artists and leaders. Want to meet him? Sign up, link in bio. Meet our new venue partner — and trust us, this one’s special. Have you visited them? @casa.capitao is a multidisciplinary cultural hub and venue in the Beato district of Lisbon, founded by the team behind Musicbox. It features several levels and terraces, including a concert hall, rooftop terrace, and restaurant called Mesa. It’s a living, breathing cultural hub where music, food, literature, and visual arts collide in the best possible way. Think indie bands, electronic DJ sets, jazz, cumbia, Brazilian R&B, spoken word, workshops, performance art. Their programming is wildly diverse, consistently curated, and always surprising. Local legends and international artists share the same stage, and the energy shows. But what really sets them apart? They’re built on creation, experimentation, and artistic exchange — not passive consumption. This is a platform for critical thinking, inclusion, and freedom and we couldn’t be more excited to call them a partner! Registration is open → link in bio.
