I always get asked, “Do you ever get lonely traveling the way you do?”

The answer is yes and no.

I’m incredibly lucky to meet amazing people everywhere I go and build connections I never imagined possible. But at the same time, I miss the relationships where I can be completely myself. The people who know all my quirks, my humor, my history, and my heart.

That’s why festivals and events like World Pride mean so much to me. They bring together people from every corner of the world, but they also bring me back to the people who have been part of my journey all along.

This weekend reminded me how fortunate I am. Not only for the deep friendships that have grounded me for years, but also for the beautiful new connections that continue to restore my faith in people.

This year’s Tomorrowland theme, Consciencia, felt like the perfect word for this weekend.

Wonder. Love. Anger. Joy. Desire. Sadness.

I felt all of it.

In the music, the crowd, the release, and the strangers who treated each other with so much kindness.

As you get older, real connection can feel harder to find, which is why spaces like this mean so much to me.

Tomorrowland wasn’t just about dancing.

It was about unity, love, and people from all over the world coming together with open hearts.

A reminder that feeling deeply is not a weakness.

It’s proof that we’re alive, connected, and still capable of making the world feel a little more loving.
