While documenting the labor at Natural Bridge State Resort Park in eastern Kentucky, the Park Naturalists gave me the opportunity to shadow them on their routine. This was considered the slow period in the season, though there was not a moment where they were cleaning the trail, removing peoples stickers (please don't do that) and educating the public. Park Naturalists plan, develop, and conduct programs to inform public of historical, natural, and scientific features of national, state, or local park.

Their guidance was very appreciated that day on the trail by many.

Ky State Park Naturalist: Samantha Evans overseeing the Seasonal Naturalists from EKU: Sabra Wilson, Rachel Redden and Kristin Stambaugh. She pointed out that she wished she could hire all of them full time.

Officer. Justin Wilson, Kentucky State Park Ranger, showed me one of his favorite places on his patrol route. A quiet spot on a damn spillway. Sounds very pleasant and is a reminder of the benefits of working in the Parks System.
There are only 40 full-time State Park Rangers in Kentucky and he can use some help there at natural Bridge

While documenting Natural Bridge State Park in Kentucky, I got to follow Naturalist Supervisor Samantha Evans. She has been working at the park for years and makes it very clear she has one the best jobs out there.

Officer. Justin Wilson, Kentucky State Park Ranger, allowed me to ride a long with him for the Kentuckian Project. He is the one lone ranger assigned to Natural Bridge State Resort Park and patrols the 2,369 acre park daily.

In Kentucky, they remember the Queen D from Tennessee.

in lieu of flowers Dolly Parton‘s family asked people to donate to Dolly Parton‘s imagination library. A publishing company that creates and distributes children’s books. @imaginationlibrary

I expect the memorial flowers and tributes to accumulate as the days go by.

Since I screwed up the legs on the table, I decided to give it another try with a tighter, graphite pencil. Didn’t realize I was a leg guy. Seedleaf made the still life and also let people take home some of the still life. Haven’t had pawpaw in a long time. by @jimboblander
