Over the past few months, DETAILS has been closely following the development of Costa Ragusa Golf, one of the latest additions to the portfolio, through two visits that brought some of the key figures involved in the project to the destination.

In June, we welcomed José María Olazábal, architect of the Castle Course, and in August, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, architect of the Queens Course. Two visits with a shared objective: to showcase the progress of Sicily’s new golf destination. Across the two visits, we brought together 25 journalists and 30 tour operators, alongside stakeholders from @boriomangiarotti REIM, DETAILS and @mangiashotelsandresorts , who had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the project’s vision and development, ahead of its planned opening in 2027.

For DETAILS, the work begins well before the opening. It involves planning, resource management and, above all, bringing different partners together, underpinned by a management model developed and consolidated across other destinations.

Remembering Alfonso “Alfy” Fanjul — a visionary, a gentleman, and a true force of nature.
The King of Sugar built an extraordinary legacy, elevating golf and shaping the Dominican Republic with passion and purpose. Beyond his success, he will be remembered for his generosity and heart.
