Judges 19–21: A horrific story, well known by anyone who has studied biblical accounts of sexual violence. This is a story I have repeatedly chewed up and wrestled with. Before encountering God’s declarations in Hosea, I thought He didn’t care about SV, and by extension, He didn’t care about me and how terribly it has shaped me as a person. How wrong I was. There’re so many other things to unpack in this story, but I just wanted to put it out there, that there was more to the story, in Hosea. God cares, God redeems and God goes to war on our behalf. #God #christianity #sexualassault #sexualviolence #judges19 by @jimi_fshadow

Second year in, I really hated this degree. Walking with The Lord gave it and myself meaning. Now I’m done, I confess it did get better and enjoyable (big chunk of that was my love for batteries and FYD). Nevertheless, walking hand-in-hand with Jesus was the best part of this journey.
