I’m just trying to enjoy my time here.

@yellowhousemusic has been one of my favorites for a while now so do yourself a favor and listen to his whole discography

< I decided to visit a friend in Paris for the first leg of break. Took the last train out of Florence and the first one out of Milan to get there but this meant I had 6 hours (1-7AM) to kill and nowhere to stay. I had to switch train stations as well and during the walk I ended up in this park. There was no one there but a few couples/friend groups heading home from bars or on late-night walks. As the crowd started to die down I couldn’t find a place where I felt hidden or a good vantage point to keep an eye out for anybody wanting the smoke. I was gripping my pocket knife for hours. It felt like the longest hours of my life so I decided to occupy myself.

I made these clips and didn’t really know if I was ever going to make the full video. A year and a half later, I’m gathering up a bunch of creative material to market myself with and I started finding projects I never finished. I was told to finish this project by a few people earlier this year and I almost did… but didn’t. I thought it’d be corny or stupid or idk… It might be corny but taking 30 minutes to finish it was genuinely enjoyable. I’m happy I can share the memory of that night and that I love editing even if Instagram and TikTok are giving it a bad wrap sometimes. >
