@realjefffahey @jimmoosebrown and myself with be doing a panel at this year’s @nashfilmfest on Sat, September 26th at 12:30pm.

We’ll be talking about writing songs for the incredible series @thegrayhouseseries From our introduction to the project, through the songs production and finding the right artists including @thewarandtreaty @larkinpoe @drakemilligan @shaniatwain and @willienelsonofficial as executive producers on the soundtrack.

This phenomenal true story was brought to the life by producers @lesliegreif @thelorimccreary @morganfreeman and @kevincostner and premiered on @primevideo in February of 2026.

Panels for this year’s festival will be held at the National Museum of African American Music in downtown Nashville.

I had Steve Wariner come over to my studio today to overdub on something for me. While he was here, I told him about my son Josh, who plays guitar. I played him a couple videos of Josh playing and Steve picked up my gutstring and said “get your camera out and record a video. I want to send it to him.” by @jimmoosebrown
