What a wonderful weekend celebrating our 40th HS Reunion! It was so much fun reconnecting with old friends, sharing stories, and picking up conversations that somehow didn’t feel like 40 years had passed. The name tags were definitely helpful, the names all looked familiar, even if some of us needed an extra second to match them to the faces. It was truly great seeing everyone. Special thanks to Mark Goodnow for hosting a great party, Peter for telling me what to buy, @krisparfitttravers for brunch. Mark Fry for being Fry, Jason, Courtney, Dan, John, Carrie, Kim and Erika. It was great to see you all and catching up. Until next time. taken in Palo Alto, California by @jimmydworkin

Beautiful day for the @sctri sprint tri. Weather was perfect with very little wind. Came out of the water 2nd just behind a 16-year-old. She was pretty fast. Bike split was fast and crowded and I redlined on the run to finish 2nd in AG out of 21 and 8th out of 343. Lots of fun. Thanks @kdworkin for taking great pics and being there as the #triwife. @svtriclub @teamzootnorcalhi #triathlon #sprinttriathlon taken in Santa Cruz, California by @jimmydworkin

A perfect day out in @santacruz for the #trisantacruz olympic distance tri. Had a little issue before the race. My contact lens fell to the ground and had to look on the ground for a few mins and managed to find it, crisis averted. 1500 yard swim was fantastic. 27:29. Bike leg is quick and technical, 4 loops on West Cliff, lots of people to maneuver around. Then a 2 loop run course of for a total of 5.51 miles. A little shorter than a 10k. Congrats to the many @svtriclub members that came out and dominated. #triathlon @sierra_cascades #olympicdistancetriathlon. 1st in Age Group. 24th out of 187. Back to back weekends of racing. An amazing weekend here at #donnerlake for the @bigblueadventure #donnerlaketriathlon. First up was the Sprint race on Sat. Managed to pull off a 3rd place in AG podium spot. 26th overall all out of approx 250 people. Sunday, I did the 2.4 mile Open water swim. Surprised myself with a 1st overall out of around 50 with a time of 1:03:52 (1:28 pace). Then decided to run around the lake 6.65 miles for the hell of it. I’m exhausted. Time to relax. @svtriclub @teamzootnorcalhi #triathlon taken in Donner Lake by @jimmydworkin

Not all heroes wear capes! Some of them sport heart rate monitors because they’re in training for a race and crash their kids’ Slip ‘ N’ Slides to show ‘em how it’s done! They dispense guidance and pass on wisdom. They joyfully embrace every adventure and show up when action needs to be taken!

Happy Father’s Day to our hero @jimmydworkin — the BBQ King, the music educator, the problem solver, the captain of our adventures! Thank you for always being game and handling whatever we throw at you!

We love you so much!!

Fun times at the #uvasspringsprint Triathlon. Didn’t get a podium spot this time, I have to settle for 4th out of 23 in Age Group. A lot of fast folks in the Bay Area. Congrats Chris on your 1st place in AG finish. @svtriclub #teamzootnorcalhi #sprinttriathlon @playtime.multisport taken in Uvas Reservoir by @jimmydworkin
