There’s a lot happening in America right now around immigration. And while we may not all agree on politics, I believe we can agree on basic decency.

Behind every headline is a human being—someone’s parent, neighbor, coworker, or friend.

Food has always reminded me that we’re more connected than divided. We gather, we share, we nourish—not because of status or belief, but because it’s human to care.

Let’s choose compassion. Let’s stay united.

Wishing peace and safety to all 🖤 by @jimmysyamphone

Still soaking it all in — our private Laab You More book launch event was a dream come true!

Full house. Good food. Big love.

From the Lao food, to the beautiful faces in the room, to the storytelling — and having our talented illustrator @phommiee in the house — it was the most meaningful way to bring this book into the world.

To everyone who has already purchased a copy: thank you. Your support means everything.

A special shoutout to our family @poorly_smashed_papaya and @mekongsd_ for being such generous and gracious hosts.

And if you haven’t grabbed a copy yet — Laab You More is now officially available!
