It’s been a week of endings. We finished the shoot for our pilot of #angusthongsandfullfrontalsnogging ; the Toronto Run of my play The Buddhist of Castleknock presented by @torontoirishplayers came to an end; and tonight, the final episode of #YouthHBO, produced by @mermantvfilm and the fantabulous @jameskleverweis, written by the incomparable @sharonhorgan and directed by myself airs on @hbomax . Three very different projects all coming to an end in the same week. But the upside of any ending is that it paves the way for a new beginning, so looking forward to discovering what comes next. Lots of really interesting stuff bubbling under for next year, but right now it’s time to get stuck into the edit for Angus Thongs and see where that takes us. Hope you all enjoy the final episode of Youth - I think it’s a belter, though I say so myself! - and here’s to new beginnings … by @jimohanlon_

Episode Five of YOUTH is out now on @hbo @hbomax! Created by and starring the bould @sharonhorgan, written by @jackdaverooke and directed by, well, me (with my old pal @robertwilkins8 on 2nd Unit Directing duties and @samgoldie making it all look beautiful), it’s 29 minutes of fun in the Ibizan sun, which was an absolute blast to shoot (there are worse ways to spend your day than on a luxury yacht in Mallorca filming great material with fantastic actors and a brilliant crew). And the good news is, if you enjoy it there are still three more episodes to come … #HBOYouth by @jimohanlon_

So if you haven’t seen it, or you missed one of the official tally of 378 jokes in the cinema, now’s your chance … by @jimohanlon_

An evening of sharp wit and cinema at The Olympic, Barnes.

@jimmycarr took to the stage to introduce Fackham Hall, joined by director @jimohanlon_. A room full of laughter, insight and the kind of conversation that feels right at home here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night that reminded us film is best experienced together.

It’s all in the details.

The jokes are literally everywhere in #FackhamHall and that extends to the posters in the background that are barely visible 😂

Den of Geek spoke with the director of the Downton Abbey Spoof, Jim O'Hanlon, about what to keep your eyes out for — specifically the period version of the #Trainspotting poster.

Some BTS pics from the set of Fackham Hall, shot this time last year. In US cinemas nationwide now and cinemas across Ireland and the UK from Friday (Dec 12th). Even more fun to watch than it was to make. And it was a lot of fun to make … by @jimohanlon_

We learned a lot about @t22felton, @thomasin.mckenzie, and @jimohanlon_ in this game. 😂
