As my trip comes to an end in Vietnam, I just want to say congratulations to Bun and Tuyet on getting married. I want to say thank you for giving me an opportunity to come visit the beautiful country of Vietnam and giving me an opportunity to be apart of your wedding. Seeing you two during the first look pictures truly had me emotional. I don’t think I cried like that since watching Jiraiya get killed by Pain in Naruto. Jiraiya dying had me crying in my rack at 4 am in the middle of the South China Sea on deployment. Seeing you two in that moment was truly a moment I will never forget for the rest of my life. To Bun, thank you for being my best friend for all these years and it was an honor to be the best man at your wedding. Hopefully, I did you some justice on my best man speech. To Tuyet, thank you for being you and for being a durian haha. I am happy Bun found someone like you. You are truly an amazing person inside and out. I hope one day I can watch you and Bun sing never ending story like Dustin and Suzie from Stranger Things. Thank you to your parents for treating us like family. I apologize for my bloody nose and bleeding all over your house haha.
Because of this trip I discovered two things about myself. One, I am fat. Watching my tour guide struggle with my fat ass on the moped was honestly funny as hell to watch. Two, I think I want to travel more and explore/learn about the history of different countries. Learning the history of Vietnam was truly an eye opening experience for me. Time to go Thailand next.
