Do you like movies? What about musicals? And how about improv? What if you didn't have to choose? What if there was a way to enjoy all three... ALL AT ONCE?

Every Saturday at 6 PM, from July 4 through August 8, our Pro Musical Longform class will be doing exactly that as part of Studio Saturdays at Comedy Bar Danforth.

If you've never seen longform musical improv before, I'd love for you to experience it.

It's basically a burrito of songs, scenes, and questionable choreo. 👯

I think I just joined team durian.

Saw this and immediately made a stank face… but the kind where you know it’s actually good.

My late popo would be proud I finally gave in.

Never thought I would ever have the pleasure of seeing my favourite film on the big screen. Not only that, but an official 70th anniversary 4K restoration of the 3+ hour epic. Thank goodness I got here 40min early because the house was PACKED. Incredible to see many folks of all ages and backgrounds in attendance - a family even brought their preteen kid. Overall, there is not enough to say how influential this Kurosawa masterpiece is.

Definitely needed this. taken in Fox Theatre by @jimtruo

Earlier in July, I took a solo road trip through southern Ontario, visiting some charming “euro” cities.

While that journey was wonderful, nothing compares to the cozy moments shared with great friends and family along the way. Thanks for the amazing memories! ✌️

Five weeks later, the 10,000 swing kettlebell challenge is finally over. What a **mentally** pain in the butt thing to do... but it was worth it.

At least once.

Homemade tortillas with lean turkey + kale + cottage cheese + scramble eggs 🌯 (~40g of protein)
---

This past week was a reminder that even though people now say "COVID is like the flu"... It still f*cking sucks. After 5 days of ups and downs, I decided to muster enough strength to get to making my own tortillas for the first time ever (and to mitigate some cabin fever symptoms). Definitely a workout for your hands when working the rolling pin... But then later found out that I could have gotten a tortilla press. Lol. Anyway, I'm still happy with the final results and will continue to perfect it in the coming weeks. Take care and stay frosty and stay safe. 😷

“I know of no better life purpose than to perish in attempting the great and impossible. The fact that something seems impossible shouldn't be a reason to not pursue it. That's exactly what makes it worth pursuing, where would the courage and greatness be if success was certain and there was no risk. The only true failure is shrinking away from life's challenges.”
