First time at the GAINS FIT Retreat… and definitely NOT my last!

I came into this weekend not really knowing what to expect, and I left with a whole new group of amazing people, new friendships, and so many unforgettable memories. Getting to experience everyone sharing what they do best was seriously inspiring.

And yes… we absolutely danced our asses off.

A huge thank you to Jeff @jefflimleads for inviting me and to the entire GAINS FIT family for welcoming me with open arms. It truly felt like I was part of the family from the moment I showed up.

Shout out to my dance crew, Team After Dark @krystl_mariee and @token_blac702nv we did that! Thanks Krystl for filling in last second.

I’m already looking forward to the next one. taken in Hampton Inn Tropicana by @jimventure

Back in February, I was at my heaviest weight: 181 lbs. For me, going to the gym has never been the hardest part — nutrition has always been the challenge. For the longest time, I thought as long as I worked out, I could eat whatever I wanted… but my waistline definitely disagreed 😂

After meeting with my doctor, I also found out my labs weren’t looking great. With their guidance, I decided to start Wegovy to help manage my appetite. I needed something to help jumpstart my fitness journey and create healthier habits.

Now that I’ve hit my goal weight, I’ve learned a lot about portion sizes, what foods work for my body, and how to build more balance into my lifestyle. I’m starting to slowly wean off Wegovy, and my goals have shifted from just losing weight to maintaining my progress and getting into even better shape.

This journey has been about a lot more than the number on the scale 💪 #wegovy by @jimventure
