Day 5 | Dabi sketch! I’m really proud of this sketch! I think it’s my best one yet, I kinda hate the way i shaded the jacket with pen but hey that’s okay. Also, sorry it’s been a rough couple days and a lot going on so I couldn’t post everyday and draw, but life happens and I’m gonna keep doing this challenge (: Really happy how this came out! Pencil sketching before using pen really made a difference! (: Also I’ve been rewatching MHA on and off since the fall and I’m so close to finishing!

Day 5 | First time drawing a background, I used my iPad and drew in GoodNotes. I definitely could’ve tried to blend it more, but I’m not too disappointed with how it came out considering I didn’t use a reference 😋

Day 4 | I drew one of my favorite characters ever, Stark from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End! I didn’t have time today, but I want to render this sketch more, and use pen to trace and add dimension. Stark is such a wholesome character, and I think this is one of my better sketches (: I did scan this from my sketchbook so it looks slightly distorted 😅

Day 3 | I’ve been watching this newer anime called “Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion” so I drew Raeliana!! 👸🏻This show has been surprisingly pretty good, and I’ve been enjoying every second of it (: I mainly focused on her face and hair, I didn’t really put too much effort into the details for her shirt/top situation 😅

Day 2 | Whiteboard sketch!! I used references on pinterest, but I’m not sure which character this is 😅
I feel like if I know the character, I’ll be more of a perfectionist, so as I’m getting back into drawing more I just wanted to do a character I didn’t know.

Day 1 | Too many days have passed, so I’m going to restart the 100 days challenge! A lot of things have happened recently and I have been drawing here and there, but not consistently 🫪

I think it’s always good to start anything again and keep trying til you reach your goal! As long as you don’t quit you’re on the right track (:

It took me way too long way to think that way, but i like that mindset a lot more than the one I used to have. I used to think that if you weren’t great right away “you’re not talented” or don’t have the inclination to do that thing which is simply not true. Everyone is a beginner at some point, and learns at their own pace 🤓☝🏼

Day 4 | Gaara sketch! I started with pencil today and then added pen on top instead of just only using pen right from the beginning and just continuing despite mistakes. I’m super happy with the way this came out (: He is a little madder than he should be 😅

Day 3 | I also did a Sett sketch, but yeah I’m also super disappointed with the way this came out. However, I still wanted to post it because even bad drawing days are inevitable and are part of the journey. I’m proud of myself for atleast drawing today and being okay with posting the fails ✍🏼

Day 3 | I’m pretty disappointed with this Luffy sketch, but I’ll give myself some grace. I’ve still made a lot of progress from when I first started drawing and I will improve the more I draw. I didn’t really want to post this, but I think it’ll be a good benchmark for when I get further along the 100 day challenge. Plus, I’ve been strictly using just pen so far, so I can’t erase any mistakes.

Day 2 | I also really wanted to practice hands, so I saw this piece of hers @emw.jpg (second image), and tried sketching the camera and hands. I definitely messed up the hands but I don’t think it was too bad for a first attempt!
