I'm so grateful for the people who got me to go see graduation and all the people who remembered me 😭 truly hit me somewhere soft hahaha

It was an honor to see yall graduate and I can't wait to see what you all do next

Figured I'd post this because school is schooling me and I realize I haven't been too active on here!

Life updates: I'm doing pretty good! It's getting quite cold since this is my first autumn in ~8 years (that feels wrong) but I'm enjoying club activities and meeting new people. This is tmi but I'm contemplating making a haikyuu themed digital calendar for the upcoming year...

I've been giving myself a lot of time to think about this day.
It was the first time I cried about racism.
For the first time, tears come quicker than words do.

What is my place in this world? Hiding behind my thoughts, identity, body, socioeconomic placement, achievements, labels...
Stands I, a Human Being.

To feel pain is to be human, to feel pride is to be human, to feel healing is to be human; not the other way around.
I no longer want to put down the experiences of people as mere stories. I no longer want to listen to the lies I tell and have been told about who we are. I no longer want to embody traits that I can pick up and put down instead of the being that I am and deserve to be.
To be me is to be human, in all of my past, present, and future.

I welcome my human tears to flow down my face, as a testament to new rivers of growth and understanding. by @jingercat03
