And I Will Be With You…

as i sit here 2 weeks removed from the last time i got to perform with all of my friends i just think about how grateful i am to have been apart of such a great season, there was such a real synergy between all of us, it was so special to me and it is something i will cherish for the rest of my life. driving down 3 hours every weekend was so worth it because at the end of every drive down i got to see my family.

To The TuneSquad, i don’t even know where to start. towards the beginning of the season i had doubts if i even wanted to finish out the season but as we all grew closer i knew i couldn’t leave, the seven of you are some of the most hardworking, funny, and just all around genuine people i’ve gotten the pleasure to march with. some of the best moments of the season for me is just hanging with you guys cranking jokes and just learning who you guys are. you all are my brothers for life.

from the bottom of my heart thank you STRYKE for another great season and for being my home away from home!

Diamond in The Rough

To Stryke Percussion, i cannot begin to thank you enough for giving me a chance to be apart of this great organization. i took a big gamble coming down 3 hours away to audition, i’ll be honest Stryke wasn’t really in my radar for a place to march but some really amazing people reached out to me and let me know what Stryke was about and i never turned back. i’m so grateful for all the good moments the tough moments and everything inbetween, i’ve learned what it means to really work for what you want and to have grit and to have grace (shoutout to val). although we didn’t get quite what we wanted this season it was nothing short of great for Stryke and a HUGE step for the future of the Organization and i’m so blessed to have been a small part of this!

To the Tunesquad, all Eight of you are my fucking brothers for life man, we fought asses off this season and i wouldn’t have wanted to do it with any other group of guys. from the first michi we played to the last note we played i wouldn’t change a damn thing about what we did as a line this season. thank you guys for constantly pushing me and being by my side through it all, i pray we can all drum together soon y’all boys. if you need anything i’m here for you guys.

to Eric and Shade, without you two gentlemen i would not have come out to Stryke, thank you guys so much for reaching out and putting in good words for me i will never forget that. i’m so grateful for you guys telling what the Stryke battery is about and changing my prospective, Eric happy age-out brother and Shade i can’t wait to see you guys do at spirit this summer!

Thank You Again Stryke👾🖤

back half of infinity flam jam, i struggle with this section a lot because of all the quick upstrokes and keeping the hands soft while moving through them.

also sorry for my absence, i will start posting more consistently as we are approaching indoor season by @jitcranking

Barber Flams @ 154

tons of flams in this quick exercise but i’m just striving for no tension what so ever as i navigate through all the quick upstrokes and multiple flams that are in the bad boy. by @jitcranking
