.Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is a 2026 Malayalam romantic comedy-drama directed by Girish A. D., known for films such as Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, Super Sharanya and Premalu. The screenplay was written by Girish A. D. and Kiran Josey. The film stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, along with Sangeeth Prathap, Vinay Forrt, Shyam Mohan, Srinda, Bindu Panicker, Suresh Krishna and other prominent actors.
The story is set in a close-knit Christian neighbourhood, where the lives of families and neighbours are closely connected. The title refers to a local “Kudumba Unit” (family unit), a small community-based group of families. This setting allows the film to explore everyday relationships, family interactions, neighbourhood friendships and humorous situations.
The central characters are Justin, played by Nivin Pauly, and Ashley, played by Mamitha Baiju. Ashley returns from abroad, and a wedding in the neighbouring house brings back memories of her relationship with Justin. Their old connection gradually develops into a romantic relationship, despite a significant age difference. The film follows their emotional journey while also showing how the people around them react to their relationship.
One of the main strengths of the movie is its blend of romance, humour and family emotions. Instead of depending heavily on action or a large-scale storyline, the film focuses on ordinary people, their personalities and small incidents in their everyday lives. The supporting characters add much of the film's comedy and help create the warm atmosphere of the neighbourhood.
The movie also deals with themes such as first love, second chances, family relationships, emotional connection and acceptance. The romance between Justin and Ashley forms the central thread, while the wider community gives the story its distinctive character and humour.
Technically, the film features Ajmal Sabu as cinematographer, Akash Joseph Varghese as editor and Vishnu Vijay as music composer. The film was produced by Bhavana Studios, with Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran among the producers. by @jithinn_fx

GOAT THOMA!!!💥❤️‍🔥.....
.
Spadikam is one of the most iconic films in Malayalam cinema, directed by Bhadran and released in 1995. The movie stars Mohanlal in the legendary role of Aadu Thoma, a character that became unforgettable among Malayalam movie lovers. The film also features Thilakan, Urvashi, and K. P. A. C. Lalitha in important roles.
The story revolves around Thomas Chacko, popularly known as Aadu Thoma—a strong, rebellious man feared by society but deeply wounded inside. As a child, Thoma was intelligent and talented, especially in mathematics, but he constantly struggled to earn the approval of his strict father, Chacko Master. His father wanted discipline and perfection, while Thoma wanted love, understanding, and freedom. This emotional clash slowly pushed him away from home and shaped him into the rough and aggressive man he later became.
Even though Aadu Thoma appears violent and fearless on the outside, the film beautifully shows his vulnerable side. His anger comes from pain, rejection, and years of emotional distance from his father. The relationship between father and son is the emotional heart of the movie. More than an action film, Spadikam is about family, pride, ego, and the longing to be accepted by the people we love most.
Mohanlal delivered one of the finest performances of his career as Aadu Thoma. His body language, dialogue delivery, emotional intensity, and screen presence made the character legendary. The scenes between Mohanlal and Thilakan are especially powerful and are still widely discussed today. Dialogues like “Aadu Thomaaa…” became hugely popular and remain part of Malayalam pop culture.
The movie combines action, emotion, comedy, romance, and drama in a very natural way. It also has memorable music composed by S. P. Venkatesh. Songs like “Ezhimala Poonchola” are still loved by audiences.
Spadikam became a massive commercial success and later gained cult status. Even decades after its release, it remains one of the most celebrated Malayalam films ever made. Aadu Thoma continues to be seen as one of the greatest characters in Malayalam cinema because he is powerful, flawed, emotional, and deeply huma by @jithinn_fx

1YEAR OF THUDARUM (2025)📈💎
.
Thudarum is a Malayalam film that focuses on the idea of life moving forward despite emotional struggles and unexpected challenges. The story follows a set of relatable characters whose lives intersect through moments of love, loss, and personal change. The narrative is simple yet deeply emotional, showing how even the most ordinary people carry complex feelings and hidden strength.
The film features performances from actors like Mohanlal, who brings depth and maturity to his role, portraying a character dealing with inner conflicts and responsibilities. Alongside him, Shobana delivers a graceful and emotionally rich performance, adding warmth and balance to the story. Supporting roles by Prakash Raj and Biju Menon further strengthen the narrative, each contributing unique perspectives and emotional layers.
At its core, Thudarum explores themes such as resilience, relationships, and the passage of time. It emphasizes how life doesn’t stop for anyone—people must learn to adapt, heal, and move forward. The storytelling is realistic and slow-paced, allowing viewers to connect deeply with the characters’ journeys rather than relying on dramatic twists.
The film’s cinematography and background score enhance its reflective mood, making each scene feel meaningful and grounded. Instead of offering a loud or exaggerated conclusion, Thudarum leaves the audience with a calm, thoughtful message about continuity and hope.
