Apparently, I’m still not done with Erasmus haha, and my South American 🌎 adventure is still going on because I’m working as a tour guide. But somehow, I still found time to apply for another Erasmus programme!

And no, it’s not one of those short Erasmus projects you can apply for until you’re 30, nor is it a programme for students. And yes… you don’t have to be a student, and there’s no age limit either! Are you getting curious yet??

🍒 It feels so good to stop caring about what other people think. This year has made me think a lot about life, the choices we make, and the expectations we put on ourselves. And honestly, some situations have really kicked my ass and forced me to look at things differently. And you know what? I’m actually so happy they did 😊

I’ve realized how much energy we waste worrying about how our lives look to other people instead of asking ourselves if we’re actually happy with the way we live.

I’m in my thirties 🌸 and I know what I want. I want to travel, create, do work that gives me purpose, live by the ocean, experience new things, find love, and build a life that feels like mine.

I finally know what I want in a relationship, what I deserve, what I’m willing to give, and what I’m no longer willing to settle for. Of course, I want a family one day. But not just for the sake of following a timeline.

Because somewhere along the way, we started believing that turning thirty means following a certain path. Settling down, having a family, and figuring everything out. But why?

There is no universal timeline. No single way to live a happy, meaningful life. And who says settling down has to mean staying in one place? 😏

Maybe the beauty of growing up is realizing that you can want stability & freedom, love & adventure, roots & wings✨You don’t have to live a life that makes sense to everyone else.

From “maybe one day” to actually doing it! ✨🌊

I first came across Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs back in 2022. I even recorded a podcast about it with a friend who works with Erasmus projects. And then… I kept putting it off. Until this year.

In June 2026, I finally thought: “Okay, it’s time. Why not now?” I knew I wanted to go to Portugal and use the programme to work on a business plan for a surf camp. And I already knew which part of Portugal I wanted to experience — Algarve 🇵🇹 I had wanted to visit this part of Portugal for a long time, so I started looking for a surf camp there that could become my host.

I contacted two surf camps and one of them was interested and they agreed to host me 🥹 so then I had just three months to make it happen. I had to finish my application, write my business plan, get everything registered… and I actually put my business plan together in just 14 days haha. And honestly, it wasn’t completely smooth. There were some registration issues on the host’s side, so even one month before leaving, I still wasn’t sure if it would actually happen.

My biggest advice? Start early. If you want to find your own host, I’d give yourself at least 6 months. It gives you time to develop your business idea, prepare your application and find the right match. And now I’m here in Portugal, ready to start a ,,new chapter” 🇵🇹

I have no idea where this experience will take me, or whether that future surf camp will ever become a reality🏄🏼‍♀️💫 But maybe that’s the point. Learn. Try. Dream. And maybe one day… make it real 🌸🧘🏼‍♀️

Okay, so THIS is the Erasmus I was talking about. 👀 I’m 32, I’m not a student anymore, and I’ve applied for Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs 🫰🏼✨

It’s a programme for people with a business idea who want to spend 1–6 months abroad learning from an experienced entrepreneur — with financial support of up to €1,200 per month 🤑

And yes, despite the word “Young”, there’s no age limit. 😏 I’ll be sharing more about the programme, how I applied and how the whole experience goes.

A month as an activity leader 🇨🇿☀️

One month full of new faces, endless activities, hot summer days in Prague, experiencing a real Czech summer, 🛶rafting, working together with my little brother and getting to spend some quality time together after a while haha… and way too many moments to fit into one post✨

Being an activity leader at summer school was definitely more than just a summer job. It was a month of meeting amazing people, creating memories and being part of something that makes people smile and gives them memories they’ll hopefully carry with them for a long time 🧡

And of course, I didn’t feel full of energy every single day, but I guess that’s also part of the experience — learning to enjoy the chaos, even when you’re tired 😃Luckily, we had such a great team and so much support around us, which made everything so much easier ☀️
