Right now, @haisam1jj is hurting and I am hurting.

Losing in the first round at ADCC sucks, especially knowing how much work went into getting here.

But when I look at the bigger picture, I can still see the progress.

Since the last ADCC, Haisam has improved . He’s initiating more. His passing has improved. He’s making fewer of the same mistakes that cost him 2-3 years ago.

He’s a better grappler than 2024.

We’re also working with a lot of constraints in Dubai more than America or Brazil or Europe. There isn’t a room full of athletes here doing what we’re trying to do, and the “thinking” is old school etc..

We’re building this with what we have. So keep your head up, Haisam.

This one hurts…. Let it hurt.… then back to the lab.💪 taken in Kraków, Poland by @jiujithsu
