🎙️ Just wrapped up recording a new podcast episode for the D.C. Bar Association's Brief Encounters series!

Many of you know me as a host of Let's Brief It, but this time I'll be joining Brief Encounters for a fascinating discussion on Environmental Law.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Janet McCabe, former Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, appointed by President Joe Biden, and one of the nation's foremost leaders in environmental law and policy.

We discussed some of today's most important environmental and climate law issues, public health, and the future of environmental governance.

Stay tuned—I'll be sharing more details when the episode drops!

Such a fun first week as a Judicial Intern at the Federal Maritime Commission's Office of Administrative Law Judges!

This opportunity allows me to explore a unique area of law at the crossroads of global commerce, transportation, regulation, and public policy. I'm excited to learn from talented professionals, develop my legal research and writing skills, and gain firsthand insight into the Office of Administrative Law Judges' important work.

I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

Looking forward to an exciting summer ahead!

Some conversations stay with you long after they end: this was one of them.

I recently had the privilege of interviewing @congresswomansarahmcbride for an upcoming episode of the D.C. Bar Association’s podcast, Let’s Brief It.

Our conversation on human rights was thoughtful, honest, and deeply meaningful. Congresswoman McBride’s dedication to advancing human rights, both in Congress and throughout her career, was truly inspiring.

I left our discussion with a deeper appreciation for the progress that has been made and for the important work that still lies ahead both here at home and around the world.

Looking forward to sharing this conversation when the episode is released. Stay tuned!

Two stages. Two incredible musical communities. One unforgettable weekend. 🎻✨

On May 17, I had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall as Head of Lower Strings with the Chinese Music Ensemble of New York (CMENY) during its 65th Anniversary Concert.

CMENY, founded in 1961, is the oldest and largest Chinese orchestra in North America, dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of Chinese music across generations. Being part of this milestone celebration and performing music that blended tradition with innovation was truly special.

Then on May 18, I returned to the stage at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as an alumnus with the Children’s Orchestra Society (COS): a moment that felt deeply personal and full circle.

Founded by Dr. Hiao-Tsiun Ma, father of Yo-Yo Ma, and now led by his sister Dr. Yeou-Cheng Ma and brother-in-law Michael Dadap, COS has shaped and inspired generations of young musicians through extraordinary music education and performance opportunities.

To perform on two iconic stages in one weekend, surrounded by such talented musicians and supportive communities, is something I will always treasure. So grateful for the music, the memories, and everyone who has been part of this journey. My heart is full ❤️🎶

I’m incredibly honored to be performing at Carnegie Hall this Sunday, May 17, for the 65th Anniversary Concert of the Chinese Music Ensemble of New York, where I serve as Lower Strings Section Principal.

Our program features a beautiful mix of traditional Chinese music and exciting contemporary works, celebrating both heritage and innovation through music.

The First Amendment is being tested in real time.

From the detention and attempted deportation of Mahmoud Khalil to the tragic deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, these aren’t just headlines. They’re warning signs.

I sat down with two attorneys on the front lines, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty and Amy Greer, counsel for Mahmoud Khalil, for a candid, unfiltered conversation about what’s really at stake and where free speech in America may be headed.

This isn’t theoretical. It’s happening now.

My interview with Congressman @rep_walkinshaw and Lieutenant Governor @kyleevansgay is now live on the D.C. Bar Association’s Let’s Brief It. Alongside my co-host Sophia Wang, we dive into their paths to public office, the moments that shaped their leadership, and what it’s really like working in government today.

Immigration law is at a pivotal moment and I was proud to represent The George Washington University Law School at the 2026 IRAP Annual Student Summit in New York City.

Hosted at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, the Summit brought together IRAP chapters across the US for powerful conversations and hands-on training. Hearing from former Judge Carmen Rey Caldas, IRAP Co-Founder Becca Heller, and other leading voices in immigration law was deeply inspiring.

An energizing reminder of the community committed to advancing justice for displaced people.
