In Trinidad we’re taught British colonialism but what about the other layers of inhabitation?

Anchored in the Orinoco River and the Gulf of Paria, I examine movement as a condition shaped by human dependency, specifically between Venezuela 🇻🇪 and Trinidad 🇹🇹. Archival and contemporary artifacts sit alongside football-based ⚽️ works that speak to endurance, defence, and collective coordination as strategies migration requires.

Major big up to @3thanallen 📸 for coming so clutch with his documentation of my 1st solo exhibition.

Glory to God always, the timing couldn’t be more divine ✨ taken in Toronto, Ontario by @jivegod

I’m presenting a body of work in Toronto that explores connections between Venezuela, Trinidad, and the United States.

The work was developed over a three-year period, prior to recent events, which now add an unexpected layer of relevance to the themes being explored.

Thank you in advance to anyone that stops by to see di scene 🇻🇪⚽️🇹🇹⚽️🇺🇸 by @jivegod
